Seems like this one is going back to the straight up horror vibes aka it's roots. Looks very reminiscent of the first film mixed in with some of the second. If they get it right this could be banger of a film, and it's something the franchise sorely needs.
The first film was a great horror film, the second film was a great horror action film and the rest were just alright. Like terminator I wish they just left the franchise at the second film (same with jurassic park and predator. It's ok to just make one or two films, you don't have to drive a franchise into the ground and then kick It's corpse. Oh wait this is Hollywood). It looks like a modern version of the first film, so less atmosphere and more flashy effects and explosions to keep people focused for 5 minutes. Personal I don't really care, I'll possibly watch it on streaming when it gets there (didn't bother with convenent though).
Where is the tv show that they promised us, that's what I'm waiting for more than anything. This movie is not going to continue where they left off at. They left off where David is up to no good and that's where they need to continue that storyline

Oh this is part of the Alien series. Nice. The director here is definitely one to feel hope that the movie will be good.

Looks a bit CGI heavy. Sort of has a Syfy channel look. I hope I’m wrong.

@Pokemonashgreen2 I liked the more philosophical side if things like they did with the prequels. That and michael fasbender is amazing in that role
They really screwed up the Prometheus storyline so now we are back to the basics. Sad.

I suggest you watch Evil Dead from 2013. This director know horror and how to make use of gore.
