Lived in the area several years ago and we used to joke that Crystal Cove was neither "crystal" not a "cove." BUT it's still a beautiful beach, and enjoyed spending time there.
I had a buddy that had access to one of these beach houses in the 80’s. It was great. Not crowded, it was fantastic sitting out at sunset, drinking, dinner and just hanging out taking. There were mountain bike trails on the east side of pch behind the school. Those were fun trails. Thanks for posting this video. Huell Housers series was classic.
Will be in cottage 27 1/7-14/20, we have stayed in #40, the fisherman's place about 4 times, unit 19b, unit 29b about 5 times, unit 24 once. eaten at beachcomber's about 100 times. When I was a kid in the 60's my grandmother had a nice house in north Laguna. I used to ride my bike here. every summer. We miss Huell.
this guy's been covering Huntington Beach and Orange county area for so long it's crazy they only see 10,000 views not a million shows that nobody really watches his Huntington Beach television
So great to see Crystal Cove again before they leveled it
Back when life was life
I know this is an older series but I'm really grateful you posted this.

I love Crystal Cove. Great beach community, great camping/hiking locations, and great wildlife conservation.
Glad everyone can enjoy it now 😅
I lived in one of the houses for awhile with my grandmother in 1945.
