Hell yeah ! I love how Huell walks around like the boss telling people to watch their steps and what not , no hesitation , he’s just straight to the point no matter who you are.
the admiration for Huell was amazing...all these guys stoked to meet Huell Howser when they see other "stars" everyday and they are just stars..RIP Huell...you are missed!
thank you huell howser for this magnificent video and all of the videos you have given us through the years. we miss you and hope you are still travelling and are happy wherever you may be sir. god bless you and may you rest in peace huell.
I cried for twenty minutes after just hearing his name, I knew it would be special I just didn't know it would be so devastating listening to his voice. He was one of the very special humans to ever walk the planet. I miss him as much as my own mother.
Oh how I miss this show. Sad that nobody took the reigns and continued it. I know nobody can stack up to Huell but it would be cool to see someone go back to all of the locations he did and see how things have changed
EVERYONE loved Huell. I really can't think of anyone who could take his place. They should have just started a brand new show with a new host but not call it the same name.
I’m not sure anyone could have done what he did. I was a little put off by how many times he walked away from the director. He was excited, but it just made me nervous. LOL
There is a new guy doing the California Gold tours. Not Huell, but he’s pretty good. I always hoped to meet him living in California myself, but no. He was so handsome and charming! 🥰✌️👍 3-3-21 😷
I looked forward to watching Huell Houser on PBS . I Wish that they would have had the good sense to find someone to continue with His show ! No one could do it like He did, but there is still so many interesting places to see . It's now the end of 2020, and we are going through so much, with the covid-19 pandemic that it would have let us keep entertained and we would learn while viewing !! Rest in Peace dearest Huell ! You are so missed ! Luv Ya guy! ❤️💙💜💚💛
I learned of Huell because of RUclips creators that have covered him in a particular “Vlog”s” or two. There does exist now some really good RUclips channels by video creators that travel the country featuring interesting places while first doing research so that they can create an informative video. Where many of them lack though is the interaction with people like Huell did that’s hard to equal.
To all the Huellheads (genuine fans of Huell Howser) out there, I watch and commentate over episodes of Visiting with Huell Howser on my page. Thank you KCET for hosting these videos and spreading the joy of Huell Howser.
to-date, this video was shot 27 years ago: almost a life time ago. I was 47 then, now I r 74: although we lived in North County back then, we never bothered to do the tour at WB.
As a wardrobe person for the (now gone) production shows in Las Vegas, I was fawning over the wardrobe department. What a huge piece of history this place was! Such a shame they tore the back lot down. I imagine Huell would not be happy about that.
I used to work at the Warner Bros Studio Stores (1995/96) and we had access to the studio and one time I saw Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher filming scenes. I also helped Dean Cain shop at our store in Santa Monica!
Sadly, Warner Ranch , or the back lots are all gone now 😤 W.B in their infinite wisdom [Sarcasm] decided that with so much CGI technology in use, that it should all go, and be replaced with more Studios, and office buildings., now it is just empty land and so many Historic exteriors of houses and buildings have been raised SMOOTH MOVE, W.B!🤬
Go to 48:09 when Huell asks the man in blue shirt Who are you? Huell holds this mans hand for a whole 22 seconds , Watch as the man in blue pulls his hand out of Huells sweaty grip and wipes it on his pants! too funny!
Hell yeah ! I love how Huell walks around like the boss telling people to watch their steps and what not , no hesitation , he’s just straight to the point no matter who you are.

You can’t help but smile throughout this show. Huell and Mason are a good duo.
The tour director was a treasure and the prop guy was a lot of fun.

Huell saved me $300 thanks. Happy 100th Warner Bros!
Thank God for Huell Howser! So many interesting places & people he’s brought into our living rooms! RIP Huell, you are missed!

A person would be nuts to deal with the "you're not Huell don't even try" talk.
Up here in Sacramento we've got a poor mans Huell. It's called Rob on The Road. It's not very good. Huell is the king
One of his best episodes ever! We miss you Huell :)
Thank you, KCET and Huell Howser! You are absolutely amazing.
and the parsons foundation.
Huell was jst like a kid on his shows.
Nothing like him before or since.
RIP Huell. Thanks for the memories.
Huell Howser was a gem 💎 worth a million. Miss him. RIP my friend. 💟
Really enjoyed the Warner Bros studio tour. Very different than Universal. MUCH more hands on and interesting (but no rides or attractions).
"Spontaneous and informal". That's Huell Howser alright! Loved watching shows like this. It's good to have them available here to revisit.
Just now discovering Huell. What a great personality. Looking forward to watching all his work.

Awesome show. Huell at his best. Thanks Huell....thanks Dick Mason.

I want to join the Huellhead club🤓😻😇
Cool video, the Tour Director for Warner Brothers is extremely knowledgeable.
As a transplanted California native, I learned so much about The Golden State from Huell Howser’s travelogues. I also enjoyed “Bay Area Backroads.”
i love working on this lot and i also worked on "louis and clark"
!!🤣
I'm so happy to be a local of los angeles. This city is really the world's city.
From Disney to universal. Everything is here.
I loved this show..I miss Huell so much..
SEMPER Fi..my brother thanks for the entertainment...
Huell really did an amazing job on the walk around. Really enjoyed this!
Love the high quality picture quality. Nicely done!
I love Huell. 48:10, Huell doesn't let go.
😂😂😂

"Good luck, shes looking for JJ Kennedy's shorts" - LOLLLL
I recognize the courthouse and the bank from the Dukes of Hazzard tv show
I used to work at the Warner Bros Studio Stores (1995/96) and we had access to the studio and one time I saw Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher filming scenes. I also helped Dean Cain shop at our store in Santa Monica!
Never saw this ep before, and it's an instant favourite. And how great is Dick Mason?
Huell was the best they need more shows like this.
I love Huell’s childlike wonder as he explores the different sets 🥹
WONDER PROGRAMMER. WONDERFUL STUDIO
Damn just when you think you’ve seen every episode, another one pops up!
Dude at 33 minutes is hilarious
Fun place to work in....did ....what memories. Got to go , will be back.👀🇺🇸🇩🇰💕🌅📬🦅
Nobody:
Huell Howser: Look at this!!! 😂😂
😆😆😆😆🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
All the old movie studios should be preserved. They are apart of American history. It is such a shame M-G-M was not preserved!
Damn I got to love California gold 🔥🔥 Went to warner brothers over the summer it's a must going place
great video
@KCETOnline would you please post the original air date in the description
Copyright date at the end says 1995
Chapman is doing the same thing, no dates.
This was mega cool
California icon...
GlAd he corrected the loçation. Warner Brothers is at Pass Avenue & Rìverside Drive in Burbank...
Oh, I lived two blocks from Warner Brothers for three year & even worked there briefly. Had no idea it was as elaborate as this. RIP Huell...
Well said
Very Cool
Uncle al was Randolph Scotts stunt double this was his work place
WoW!!! I don’t know anything about Warner Bro’s. But this was a AWESOME DOCUMENTARY!
Gosh I miss Huell. Adam The Woo is what I watch this day, he’s like Huell and John Ritter in one.
I seen the ghost of Festus @10:25!
This place is bigger than universal studios... why dont they do the same?
I want to try to be an actor.....
That prop guy was 👍
I wanted to see Morning Glory Circle!
I think the Dog Food commercial was for Chuck Wagon.
I miss HUELL!!!
Where's Huell standing at at the beginning of the episode (when he's next to the fountain)? Is that the Warner lot as well?
Crossroads of the World on Sunset Blvd.
Crossroads of the World in Hollywood. He had to have shot that intro around 2011 or 2012 because I used to be his office neighbor around this time.
Wow this was great to see! What a tragedy it would be if a fire were to go through that wardrobe
Sadly, Warner Ranch , or the back lots are all gone now 😤

SMOOTH MOVE, W.B!🤬
That was me smoking my lunch in the Mustang lok
I think the driver of the tour taxi works for KFI 640am
who is he i listen to kfi everyday
@@rubencazessus9480 I think that is Miss Sheron Bellio, producer of the Tim Conway Jr. Show, driving the ladies in the tour cart.
WOW
This episode was aired in either 2005 or 2006.
no the orignial isa from 1995
@@KennyboyGM ok 1995
But the intro to this episode had to be from 2011 or 2012.

Those folks didn't know who was talking to them. They probably know who that was now.
Bellio!...ding dong! 55:45
and "e r " and "gilmore girls"
That "old west town" was torn down sadly. :-(
@depression is for the rich I believe offices and parking now.
That’s sad. And I was thinking about doing a tour.
Gee, architectural planning around celestial events has been happening for at least thousands of years. Missed opportunity, sigh.
Huell is great but I hope at this time Warner Studios tour has better things to offer.
OJ Simpson would of been happening at the time...
BRUCE LEE STUDIO
just think none of these shows exists
Just think, this was originally aired in '95. That's 25 years ago as I write. A quarter of a century! Dang, am I old!
The tired english cytopathologically waste because twig ironically subtract atop a belligerent january. curious, crowded larch
This guy is horrible with personal space...and some of those handshakes were uncomfortably long 🤣
One huge bore
Ken W. Simpson: So negative, why would you even post that.
Sandy (Dan Lee's wife)
