My dad use to take our family there in the late70's and early 80's when it was nothing....we use to go there on are way back from San diego and stop at an old pizza restaurant. God bless the old days......
Who Knew? I've been a resident of the Temecula Valley since 1996 - Murrieta, initially, Menifee, since 2010. Temecula and the Golden Triangle are burgeoning, still. I love Huell Howser and his story telling style and how affable and genuine he is, as well, his subjects.
By the way, Temecula, the Pechanga Hotel, Resort, & Casino, Wine Country - a little farther east on Rancho California Road, are the mainstay tourist attractions in the city.
Its 2024 and I still miss Huell.
The arches are one of my favorite parts of old town. Cool to see the man who designed them!
I had no idea he paid a visit to our town.... so awesome!
Love You Huell. RIP. Thank You for giving us these great shows. Enjoyed them all.
