Great collection Daniel. Warner need to release more Flynn and Cagney movies. It's driving me crazy that they haven't released Captain Blood yet on bluray!!!
You HAVE to get "Angles With Dirty Faces", one of the best films warner ever made in the 30's. That one is amazing!
Thanks! I did see they’re releasing Gentleman Jim in December, so that’s an exciting Flynn to get on blu-ray! But yeah, I still cannot believe Captain Blood isn’t out yet.
@@cobwebschannel Didn't know Gentleman Jim was coming out. That's a great one! Errol Flynn always named that as his favourite movie.
yes, I'm the guy who was watching your Kino-Lorber towers sway -- so satisfying to see the laws of gravity catch up with you at last! you were overdue 🤣
Oh, that was you! I didn’t recognize you way back then. Glad I delivered a satisfying show, even if it was on accident. haha
You were into the T's before I realized you were doing them alphabetically 😮
Wonderful Warner Collection. By the way, yesterday I got my Warner Blu-ray of "Robin Hood 1.938" and I was greatly surprised to see how wonderfully and well crafted this film is. Being the first time seeing it.. Took me by surprise. Just a perfect Hollywood Film Adventures in its best shape. Keep on posting more Videos and Greetings from Spain
Nice, I love that you discovered that one and enjoyed it!
Very late commenting, but I want to give a shout out for Night Shift. I love that movie. Henry Winkler and Michael Keaton are so good in this movie. I also love the iconic first scene. A slam dunk, you might say.
I’ve talked about several of these in essays on my own channel (especially the noir films!). Still, it’s nice to see that if I choose to revisit them, these Warner Archive blu-rays are the way to go!
Love your collection, man! If you haven't seen them, check out Brigadoon, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, and It Happened on 5th Ave!
Thanks! I’ve seen those first two, but keep meaning to see 5th Ave every Christmas. This will be the year! haha
@@cobwebschannel I know how that goes. I got a few more WA Blu rays based on your recommendations. Looking forward to The Thin Man!
What can I say awesome collection my friend.
I must get some of theses titles thanks for the recommendations 👍
Hey, thanks so much! Hope you enjoy your future pick-ups.
Waiting for "The Little Foxes" on blu ray.
Hard to believe it is not available in 2023!
Gaslight is a very good suspense movie. I have it on my shelves. I never hated a character as much as I did Charles Boyer's for a long time. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Great list of movies. I love the variety.
Crazy that I haven’t watched it yet! I will soon.
I don’t know if you have seen “The Bells Are Ringing” but the songs are classic and the love story is sweet and complicated. It is about a telephone answering service, which would be quite confusing to a modern smart phone oriented audience. It would be a great double bill entry with “Play It Again, Sam” for that reason.
I actually still haven’t, but thank you for recommending it! I keep forgetting to watch it, but I’ll prioritize it and talk about it in an upcoming monthly watchlist video. Thank you!
@@cobwebschannel You are most welcome.
I think most of your comments were spot-on. My main disagreement would be your assessment of Tarzan’s Greatest Adventure. I think it is a top notch action/adventure film. An serious story with an intelligent hero, a ruthless villain & terrific supporting players.
Honestly, I love hearing you champion it. I thought it was decent, but I’m really glad it has passionate fans.
I owned Dial M on blu ray years ago. I bought multiple copies, and unfortunately, I sold all of them. Been waiting for a release with a new transfer ever since.
Sweet collection, man!
Much appreciated!
Surprised to see only 1 by the Queen of Warner Bros. - Bette Davis
Movie I'm most likely to watch for the first time this week: The Sea Wolf. ... movie I'm least likely to watch for the first time this week: The Long Trailer
I miss the $44 fo 4
Same here, for sure.
Could be you don't like Robert Taylor ?
haha Could be!

Here we have a different view absolutly 😀
It' s funny but for me he gave his best Performance in one of his last Films ,Return of the gunfighter' from 1966.
Since I saw this I like him.
And I love ,Westward the women' from 1951.
You should see this picture , so good! 🙂
I rlly like collecting Warner archive but they are expensive here in Canada.
