Spent time with this volcano doing a 35 trek cross country and ending at the volcano.i believe there is a rim road around the mountain to add a bike ride to your experience.lost in time a distant memory of the 80s i can still see you in my mind

The meaning of this volcano’s name is beautiful…Cotopaxi means “Neck of the Moon”. The natives believed it was a deity and they thought that its super shiny white snow resembled the moonlight. 🌙
