His voice - silky smooth, gorgeous tone, mysterious, seductive and so expressive. And the piano is like a pillow his voice can safely rest on. Great acoustics in that theatre.
Yes indeed... I don't recall any band ever came from Finland and had this impact on me even thought there has been many very good bands and artists for many years, but 'Poet's of The Fall' can reach all kind of people around this world and those reactions from them tells you it all..
This version is out of this world..unreal!

He has the most hauntingly beautiful voice. A few weeks after my son died in 2013 I was on YT and remembered that my son had Carnival Of Rust on his playlist. I listened to it. I then went down the POTF rabbit hole. My 2 youngest daughters got into them with me. My favorite song by them is Roses. They’re my favorite band. 😊
The whole Alexander Theater album is fantastic. This is my favourite song by them.
I also love Moonlight Kissed a lot. Please do more of the Poets.
He really is one of the best finnish born male singers. He produces so vivid imagery whitin the listeners head with his gorgeous voice
Next please ”Cradled in Love”, the official video please. I just saw it again after 11 years and I had almost forgotten how sweet and beautiful it is. Every one of their official videos is a masterpiece of art, and all of their songs poetry, but I know you’ll LOVE that one, and Marko’s vocals will give you chills.

PotF are such a phenomenally talented group of musicians! They go from alternative rock, heavy metal, dance/pop, and have some of the most achingly beautiful love songs as well! There isn’t a song of theirs that I don’t enjoy, but a few absolute favorites are Daze, Passion Colors Everything, Kamikaze Love. I could go on and on! Also, if you haven’t checked out their alter ego band Old Gods of Asgard, go DOIT!! 💜💜💜🤘🏻🫶🏻

Whatta great great reaction from you nice couple! This is one of those songs, especially this version, that hit's you hard. I am Finnish, but I don't embrace them for that reason... it's their music. I am also so glad we have had english language at our primary school oblicatory during my time and Marko's. Their lyrics are as great as the music itself. Thank you for your sincere reaction!!!
His English isn’t so good because the language was a compulsory subject in school, but because his mother who had spent time in England spoke English to him from an early age, and he later went on to study in Ireland and the US. He’s basically bilingual, English is his second mother tongue. Still I have rarely, actually never heard such beautiful, poetic lyrics from any other band who are native speakers, so his English is definitely in a league of its own. Thank you for a great reaction. It’s always nice to see people from outside of Finland appreciate our local musicians.

I did see Poets of the Fall live last Friday in Helsinki and it was amazing show! Unfortunately they didn't play Angel in their set, but it didn't matter as they have so many other awesome songs like Requiem for my Harlequin :)

Such a beautiful emotional couple and the music would be for my funeral ! Had to wipe away my tears sometimes metal singers are more soulful bacause they love to exprss their emotions and can play most genres of music !

The Child In Me is another amazing song!
The entire Alexander Theatre set is fantastic. The acoustics are phenomenal. My favorites from the set are Children of the Sun and Rebirth, both with Triosis+ adding their incredible sound to the mix.
Check out the song The Beautiful Ones, Angel was my favourite of theirs for a very long time, but then it got knocked off the pedestal by that one. It is really good, but pretty hard to find performed live.
