I love Poets of the Fall! This band has some serious depth in terms of their style and you should for sure keep looking into their other stuff. They also have a "fake" other band called "Old Gods of Asgard." You should listen to their song "Take Control." Old Gods of Asgard only exist in a video game world but the fake band is literally just Poets of the Fall members.
This is the Alexander Theater Sessions rendition, not the actual album version which has so much more depth. The Poets are a full band and this particular version was something of an experiment and does not represent their full musical prowess. I *highly* recommend giving the album/original version a reaction.
Alexander Theater Sessions should be considered the unplugged acoustic version. Every episode has superb audio quality but if you want more rock sound, go with live performances or studio versions.

Marko is example of singer who doesn't have range that big. He uses dynamics, textures and sighs and so on. Poets of the fall is underrated though if you play remedy games you know them and listen them all the time. Remedy game i.e. max payne, 2, control...

Songs like Carnival of rust MV, Daze both MV and live, Lift, Sleep and Carnival of rust live in Moscow 2013 and another live from the same Alexander Theater sessions as this one with a different approach to Lift. And it would be totally worth your time to check yet another version of Lift, from the same Moscow concert in 2013, where at the end of the song the guitarist and drummer have some fun. Fantastic stuff.

The theater is named after emperor of Russia Alexander II. When he visited Helsinki, then a Russian province, he wanted to have facilities worth his crown. During the pandemic it was of course suddenly vacant so Poets went to have this kind of small scale sessions there. All the reverb you can want, just mic the whole room!
It's not always easy to be the new guy. Right away you get treated like some human compost and then publicly bashed for eating those leftover corn dogs. A possible soundtrack for watching the new guy eat corn dogs, a guitar driven instrumental by Sentenced "Mourn (remastered 2007)". Another deceased guitar hero: "Kingston Wall - Shine On Me". Their live for a sulking drummer: "KINGSTON WALL - Drums Solo / Nepal". If you want to put some Stone (Band) in your sack, their song "The Day of Death". All more or less classics.

I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 18 and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English, German, Spanish and Arabic. The covers she performed on that show are very popular on RUclips. I really disliked the whole Ultraviolet album. Was so surprised to see this beautiful version was out of that.

The mixer is the pianist, the album version of this song is very 80s synthwave. Unlike this live version. You should all react their heavier stuff.
