but do a two in one with this one, do the album version and then the Alexander theater session version.. you won't regret it.
I keep saying that there must be something special in the Finnish waters. There are sooo many great singers/bands from there. Love the Poets.

Thanks for the reaction! It's a great song and a great album. Did you notice Marko says "conkwer" for "conquer" (very European)? He also says, "avry" for "awry" on their song "Lift." If you're not opposed to reacting to songs that don't currently have music videos for them, anything from their latest album, GHOSTLIGHT, is excellent. I think you would really appreciate (especially) "Heroes and Villains," "Hello Cabaret" and "Beyond the Horizon" all from GHOSTLIGHT. I understand these are suggestions and not requests. Cheers!

Thank you, you nice people! This is one of my favorite bands of all time and believe me ...not because they are from Finland, but because they are so good. I didn't listen too much of our own music when I was young and when it was sang in Finnish, 'cos, I guess, hearing and understanding it fully with lyrics, some naive or blunt texts just jump at your face. But with this band, everything is kinda elegant and the music is World Class!
Every song from them get my thumb up.

I actually got introduced to these guys through gaming. I played some PC games called Max Payne and Alan Wake. These guys did songs on them, been a fan ever since.
6:29 to 6:50 is my absolute favourite. His voice reaches deep into my soul❤❤❤

I recommend ”Beyond the horizon” from their newest album ”Ghostlight”. There’s no video available for that one, but no one conveys emotions like Marko, so I’m absolutely sure you’ll love it.
I like that you want to learn to sing. Marko’s classically trained as you probably know by now. That helps a lot if you want to sing metal, for instance, and when you listen to some OGOA songs, you’ll know he’s very capable of doing that as well. I’ve been through quite a few vocal coaches, looking for someone who could teach me to sing rock and metal based on classical singing. I can recommend Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy. Ken teaches open throat technique based on Belcanto, and he has many videos out on YT as well with valuable exercises for free, so you can give those a try, see if they resonate with you before spending your money. You can also check out his student videos to see his method really yields great results. To me, he’s the best vocal coach on the internet, but it really depends on what you are looking for. Do NOT forget about Jarkko Ahola!!! Definitely more than worthy to be included in that group if top Finnish vocalists. Check out his amazing version of Dio’s Holy Diver, and also live performance of ”Walking In The Air”.
