Beautiful reaction to Poets of the Fall, yet again 😊Looking forward to more, mostly because I wish for you to discover more... the original version of Angel is different with a quicker pace. Everything Poets of the Fall does is gold and brings such comfort, and yes, food for thought too.
Definitely want to hear the studio version as well. And ofcourse more of their music. Hope to get to it soon. Been very impressed with the songs i have heard.
This band introduced me to Finnish rock all the way back in 2005. They are just fantastic. Their pseudo band Old Gods of Asgard has a more hard-rock sound and definitely worth checking out. The most recent song in that project is called "Herald of Darkness", which basically tells the story of the journey of Alan Wake. The official music video is so good.
Been enjoying their songs so far so definitely will check out more and probably their other project as well.

Marko's voice is very similar to Sivert Høyem from Madrugada. Which is a good thing

Just letting you and the algorithm know that someone thinks this is a wonderful match: you & reactions to Poets . I like what you said about ... some voices vibing with one's brain. Though I think I would phrase it as vibing with one's soul ... There have been three big "voice crushes" in my life. That are all still active to this day :D. The first one was Tom Chaplin of Keane, then came "our Marko" here of Poets, and a more recent one is Sven Friedrich of Solar Fake.

There is eleven more acustic diamond from Alexander Theatre sessions wort to chack out. Maybe you should also check out some live songs of them. I have seen them six times live and they are unbelievable good. Live from Moskov 2013 and for instance Locking Up The Sun or Illusion And Dream are something different you have heard so far.
Definitely want to check out more of those.

Concert halls have natural reverb. If I had to guess there is still post production but not much as you don't wanna fuck up the natural sounds that much...

I taught the children the Pythagorean theorem when they learned to speak properly. It was funny at the counseling when they asked if you can count and other things. Then the little three year old says a^2 + b^2 +=c^2. The nurse's chin fell on the surface of the table and I had fun.

I also tried to teach what it means, i.e. "the sum of the squares of the legs of a right-angled triangle is equal to the square of the hypotenuse" but they didn't really remember it.
This version is exactly how this was meant to be in the first place. The album version is just another POTF song, but this has some magic in it. To me at least.
