I think we have COVID-19 to thank for these sessions. The theater - which is in downtown Helsinki and has excellent acoustics - is usually fully booked, but during the pandemic it wasn't, so you could get gems like this. And as you observed, the theater has been built way before electric amplification came a thing so it has to have acoustics that let everyone hear the performers. But because it was empty, you also got unusual amounts of echo.

You need to take a deep dive into this band. I am not aware of any other band or artist around to consistently write phenomenal song after song, album after album, like they do. And as a singer and student of the voice, Marco has one of the most beautiful male tones and best story telling approach I've ever heard. And on top of that the lyrics makes justice to their name, and don't just stay on the surface like most pop/rock acts.

I actually found them on another reaction channel a while ago. So far I've only heard their songs "Hello Cabaret" and this one. I like them and definitely need to check out more from them.
Poets of the Fall is a Finnish Alternative rock-indie rock-post-grunge band since 2003 with the Singer Marko Saaresto having a great baritone male voice with good technique and being able to sing purely and very long falsetto, that voice coaches are surprised. Their break or global hit song is the “Carnival of Rust” (Official Video w/ Lyrics) - ruclips.net/video/MKk1u5RMTn4/видео.html, with a mini movie kind of a great video.
Also great one is the “Poets of the Fall - Alexander Theatre Sessions. There they play only a singer and a piano or some acoustic instruments in an old early 1800s theatre in Helsinki with it’s great acoustics. Especially great song from this Sessions is the song “Angel” (Alexander Theatre Sessions / Episode 7) - ruclips.net/video/tTXd90pVjCg/видео.html - Other song more the rock type with amazing video is their song “Daze” (Official Video w/ Lyrics)" - ruclips.net/video/di7NMssrqsE/видео.html which has very long chorus Marko singing in falsetto. Poets of the Fall is a woefully underrated band. Possibly because their genre is so different from mainstream Finnish music, and people who listen music like they do rarely delve outside anglosphere. (And in the US music like they do is usually pre-decided, ie. record labels decide who to push to the radio stations in the first place.)
It is not underestimated, it is known in all corners of the world, we know, because in other videos people of other languages and races send messages commenting on how much they admire this fantastic band.
If you are referring to awards in the US, it is not important. They are a great band and their music is liked all over the world.
As far as I can determine as a professional piano tuner, that's a Yamaha CFX 9 foot concert grand. Beautiful instrument, perfect for my favorite band.
I discovered POTF almost two years ago, and within a few weeks ended up buying all of their albums on CD (and one on Vinyl as well).
I have not found a single song on any of their albums that I have disliked.
You are now entering into one of the most rewarding rabbit holes of music. Please do continue on, you won't be disappointed.

After Sting, I've liked quality music, amd now had the joy to watch Poets of the Fall 33 times live, in Finland. Many live' performandes have let me down, as I have a hobby watching Live performmandes ..never Poets of the fall. ! . If in finnish language songwriter , , Pauli Hanhiniemi is the king.
Best band ever-go from this to -Herald Of Darkness-from Alan Wake 2 same band, way different sound ,still amazing
The original version is a little heavier and faster, but these Alexander theatre sessions are magical.
