Man! We waited sooooo long for this! I’m so happy for 5.0’s new features! You were so quick with the new video! You are such a good resource that LumaFusion should give you early access and free upgrades at LEAST. Thank you for putting out amazing tutorials.
Thanks. It caught me by surprise, hence the unscripted video. I will have to do the same for the next few, because it takes me 2-4 weeks to turn around a scripted video.
I got to finally sit down and play around with it last night, and I found a hidden gem of a feature, that I haven't heard even mentioned. They added hotkeys for toggling a keyframe off or on, AND hotkeys for moving its position too! It might sound trivial, but half the time I would try to add a keyframe using lumafusion before, i'de end up accidently clearing all my keyframes, because my finger would be covering both buttons at the same time lol Also, since you can't zoom the timeline in on frame & fit/speed tabs, I've always struggled with doing complex keyframing things. These new hotkeys sorta make it a nonissue now, and were a fantastic surprise
I wasn’t aware of the on/off toggle. Thank you for posting this. Can you share what the hotkey for that? And to be clear, if it’s turned off and then back on, does it remember de previous value? I can get the struggle with accurate keyframe. If there would be a way to zoom in the keyframes editor that would be wonderful.
Yeah, Lumafusion’s main timeline UI (With having the smooth zooming interface, & fixed playhead), is so intuitive & precise. So it always feels like such a step backwards to switch to a fixed width, along with the moving playhead (on the keyframe editor screen). So these are the ones I was talking about: --jump to previous/next clip OR keyframe Cmd + [ --add/delete keyframe Opt + --move keyframe to left/right (1 frame) Opt + shift + --move keyframe to left/right (10 frames)
@@ManantialVE “..does it remember previous value?” -- hmm. Do you mean changes to the easing/speed/position of the clip? I think it is just doing the same thing as if your playhead is on an existing keyframe, and then press the keyframe button (it just toggles it off). I’ll have to experiment, but I feel like it probably won’t change any speed/zoom type changes you made.. but I’m not positive
This is amazing I've been editing a video thats due soon, so i haven't had the time to watch today, but i finally took a break and wow this was amazing. Can't wait for more of your tutorials on 5.0 i also cant wait for 5.0 to hit Android.
I have to say, that the method of adjustments is intuitive! I was afraid they would use bezier handles like everyone else. This makes it much easier to control.
Thank you for watching! It’s a 30 fps video. I know that is not the best for slowing down, but I was looking for a video where I could clearly refer to the position of the subject in the video (left, right, front).
Can you tell me why the external drive icon has been removed in v. 5.0? I just upgraded to 5.1.5 and it’s missing. I cannot edit anything until I can get it back. Editing with external drive is turned on too.
Thank you for watching. LumaFusion currently allows up to 6x. I’m working on a workflow that would allow up to 36x. I’m still tweaking it, and once it’s ready, I’ll do a tutorial. Here’s an example: ruclips.net/video/rHZwOeFIGBg/видео.html
@@SonamDazaEdition Thank you for watching. I’ve done some work with Speed Ramping on my iPhone today and it works fine. In the video I forgot to mention that this is an in app purchase. It won’t be available available if not purchased

Wie wäre missing this new Feature. I am a LumaFusion user. I live in ivory coast, precisely in West Africa. Try to help us, by making Videos for French speaking countries.
Thank you for watching! Most of my videos are scripted so I take the time to revise the translation so it matches the script. Most of my videos are translated to other languages, including French, based on the script, so the captions in French should be more accurate than the automatic translation. I started learning French a few months ago. I’m far from being fluent but I often go through the French translation, trying to catch errors and correct them. Unfortunately my last 4 videos were unscripted, so there’s no French translation there. I’ll be uploading a new video in the next few days, that will include French translation.

Take a look at what I’m working on, 36x Speed Ramping in LumaFusion:

Great video.
Will all keyframes be movable or is it just for speed ramping?
Thank you for watching! (1) Keyframes are movable everwhere. (2) Any value that can be Keyframed now supports easing.
does lumafusion allow the speeds to go any faster than 6x? how can that be done?

So bad they still limit the speed max of 6x
I agree, I’d like to see more. 10x or so.
Speed ramping in resolve I regularly use like 32000% so 600% is v annoying
