I've been dealing with extreme tinnitus for 4 months. I've not had finances to go with Treble Health 180 but I have followed all their advice and used tools suggested by them from many RUclips podcasts. Thanks so much Ben and all team members. My tinnitus is much better now going from 9 out of 10 at the worst to about 5 out of 10 and sometimes even lower except times it decides to go up for a few days. I listen to music every night and I sing in my car. I am so grateful for the help. Now I have many quiet days during the month. and so much hope after many panic attacks about my experience thinking the noise would never go away. Thanks so much team!! I am soooo grateful!

I got mine the first time I had Covid..whenever that was 2020?.. it goes away sometimes for a few days..I don't really notice it alot now during the day..but at night it's a pain..it's a very high frequency sound..like 10,000hz..or higher.. if it's really bad I'll play cricket sounds, cicadas, works good. The water noise doesn't work, just makes me have to pee..lol..The bell tones work pretty good too..

Sure if you have a minor case of it, it's easy to deal with it. Unfortunately there's people ( like myself) who are always at a 9 level. And I've met people like that in a treatment group so the reality is that the volume level can increase and get worse and no one knows how loud it can get. Very loud!!!!

I'm from Ukraine. Turn the volume up. It's around 20,000 Hz. I've been going crazy for 8 months. I'm going to die soon. I don't have the strength to endure this hell. It started after removing the sulfur plug.

The bottom line is that you have to adapt to the tinnitus, and there is currently no device or medication for tinnitus. All those I have met have never benefited from a device to treat tinnitus.

I'm British. About five years ago, a NHS audiologist suggested I try masking devices and set them up on the spot (pink noise). I still have tinnitus, but the high-pitched whine has dropped to a much lower hiss which is easy to ignore. Sometimes, I have no tinnitus at all; it;s noticeable by its absence. However, the doctor I saw advised that masking does not work for everyone and there is little else that can be done in such cases.

@@clogs4956 One person I met said heroin and fentanyl made him feel so good he didn't give a flying fuck about tinnitus. I am not inclined to follow his footsteps though (inevitably he hit rock bottom and had to clean up, a horrific experience on its own).

How long does it take to habituate to T which is 4-5 out of 10? It's been 3 months and I see no improvements despite using sound therapy and in ear devices on bad days...

It's personnal to each person. I'm to 9 month into it and I have 4-5 good days a week for 2 bad ones. From what I found is an average of 12 to 24 months but there's no one size fit all.
I wish you the best in all this.
