Little idea for the racks in your living room: Put the shoe mat closest to the door, and then the shoe rack to the right of the mat, then put a plant to the right of the shoe rack, and thennn the coat rack to the right of the plant! If that makes sense??? So it’d be the shoe mat > shoe rack > plant > coat rack. Maybe that’d look nicer/flow easier and be easier to take off your shoes when you first walk in!! :)
Edit: Or even put the shoe mat in front of the shoe rack!!! With a plant in between the shoe and clothes rack.

I know the usual aim is to take up the least amount of space possible. But you could create a tiny mud "room" by having the shoe rack where you had it at 13:50, and then move the clothing rack parallel to the shoe rack to make a C/horse-shoe shape. And then you could put the door mat between the two racks so you could sit on the top of the shoe rack and put your shoes on while staying on the mat. You could also put a full-length mirror in the middle against the wall to check your fit. Just an idea because the shoe rack fit there so perfectly hahah
