    Very nicely done. The added gussets are a wise move.👍

      Thank you! I wanted it for the look to hide the sharp edges. I love how it turned out. 😁

    So cool! So, in winch operation always in neutral? Or one can be on 4 wheel drive (High or Low) to help the winch?

    • @V8AmericanMuscleCar
      @V8AmericanMuscleCar  11 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you! You can help of course, but I was curious so I put it in neutral and watched from the outside. 🙂

      Why? Everything works the same as before.

      @@V8AmericanMuscleCar just the lack of airflow, that’s all. I was considering doing a similar hidden winch setup to my diesel XJ too eventually but I don’t want to block the airflow to the intercooler.
      Sorry to seem like I was critical of your design, I wasn’t meaning to, I was just curious.

    • @V8AmericanMuscleCar
      @V8AmericanMuscleCar  11 месяцев назад +1

      @JeepinDownUnder no problem mate! The winch plate has the same holes as the sheet metal in front of the intercooler. Also, there is no more plastic under the bumper, so I think there is just as much air, maybe even more. I didn't notice any difference, so I think you can go for it. 😉
