Nice video! I hope the white smoke doesn't cause any problems in your future! I'm building my first off-roader... a 2000 Cherokee Sport, and it's fun to watch what they are capable of!
Thanks man! It is an old diesel engine that will run on any type of wasted oils. This time it was driven on old engine oil, so that's where the smoke comes from. But it is common for those old diesel engines to smoke under load. I wish you a lots of fun with Jeep!
Great video! I just bought a 1990 XJ for $1000, put a cheap short arm lift and 33s. Took it through some nasty stuff this past weekend and it never let me down!
Thanks! Nice! I have lifted my XJ a little more and now it is about 4.25 inches. After some time I will put 33s as well. I like how XJs looks with 33s.
My dad has an XJ for years. I had a WJ and on one occasion I found myself in the woods with his XJ. When I saw how great it was on the trail, I sold the WJ and bought an XJ. 🙂 Really capable even stock.
You just have to be careful not to overheat it. It smokes because this engine can run on any type of wasted oils and this time there are wasted engine oil in the tank. 😁
hteo sam da te pitam, dok sam gledao klip, šta tražiš tamo pored puta, kada je posle nekog vremena bilo očigledno da ne moraš tuda... ali sada sam pročitao komentare i našao odgovor :) zabava :)
Thanks man! I was only in high at 6:58 and only in rear wheel drive because this was easy and "faster" part of the trail. 3:15 - 4low and just 1st gear because it's more than enough for this part. Everything else was 4low, 1st or 2nd gear.
@Antropologopt that's nice. No problem man. Ask anything you want to know and for any part of any video. I love Jeeps, driving them and everything about it and I love making videos so it's not a problem at all.
Wonderful video ! Staking rocks is part of the game When I was told to get a higher lift - I bought an OX locker instead - never regretted that decision, though I need to use the one in the truck far more often. Are you going to get one with your new lift?
@@V8AmericanMuscleCar LSD are a good choice, but you'll have to alter your wheeling methodology: ruclips.net/video/SVxRILxHcIM/видео.html . ARB air lockers wont fit a Chrysler 8.25. but they are expensive and pron to leak anyway. OX will fit and a short cable to a solenoid makes them the best switchable option. @@onefastcyclist yes i saw that video. I think these are rare situations, especially if both front and rear are Truetrac. But if it does happen, applying brake should do the job, especially on a light 4x4 like the XJ.
