Well I thought this was one of the best performances of the series. No weak links, the rhythm guitarist was cute, the lead singer powerful, and the lead guitar impressive.
The sound engineer there was...let's just say not the best one I've worked with at that particular venue. My board feed was unusable. This is from the mics I had in the balcony and this is what it sounded like in the room.
@@nightstalker2217 One of the problems with RUclips is that you can't replace the audio or video without basically deleting the video and re-uploading the whole thing, losing all the clicks and comments. I control all the cameras, but I'm pretty much at the mercy of the venue as far as audio. The sad part is that I have gotten wonderful audio from this venue before.
They must not teach mixing or recording live concerts in that school. How could anyone be proud of recordings like this? Practically no vocals at all in most every one I've seen. SOMEBODY PLEASE do something to get them to improve the recordings.
CRAPPY MIX. If you are going to present a band live, mix the sound and drive it to the input to the recorder. Couldn't hear the main vocal. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!
There are only two people on my video crew - me doing the handheld camerawork and my wife ring another camera upstairs. All the rest of, and I get a feed from the mixing board. The sound engineer screwed up my feed. normally they have a very good sound engineer and I normally get a very good recording.
It was heartbreaking. The engineers that normally worked at that venue are really talented, and this guy was a clod. The sound is from a pair of mics as he totally screwed up my board feed, and this is honestly what it sounded like in the room.
Painfull to watch , what a mess . Least they could’ve done was had these kids properly mic up . Way to difficult a vocal for lead singer to try and pull off . Put her in some Janis Joplin stuff and it’ll work .
Keith Richards time traveled back to his youth and returned to join this band. Awesome!
