6:43 I always remember this goal against Charlton because Yak had missed a sitter a few minutes earlier and when I looked back at him we were both staring at each other in disbelief... he held out his arms as if saying I dont know what happened so I clapped and said come on keep going. After the goal he runs towards me with his arms open and says "How about that?" I was cheering like crazy... I'm in the red jacket. #UTB #feedtheYak
How do we know that you aren't lying you could claim anything that you were the guy in the red t shirt please sir if you have been to any other games plz send a video or something I can't go to games so I love other people going and clicking videos plz sir..
@@footballingmaniac7035 well that's Easy you look at the guy in the red too then look my picture and you notice it's the same guy. And that's you owned son
Yorubas keep on doing well in all spheres of life. They keep on doing well everywhere they find themselves. We're proud of you Yakubu Aiyegbeni. I saw you on the LIST OF YORUBA PEOPLE. I am proud to be a Yoruba/Anago man. Supreme Yorubas to the World!!🥂💯
never understood why he never went to bigger clubs like united, Chelsea, arsenal etc. I mean if he can score 20+ goals a season he should be good enough to at least make the bench of a UCL club. I feel like it's a missed opportunity by those clubs.
Supreme Yorubas to the World!!🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂❤️❤️❤️❤️💯. In English Premier League history till date (2024) i don't think any Nigerian scored more goals than this great African Legend called Yakubu Aiyegbeni. Yakubu Aiyegbeni scored more goals than Jay jay Okocha, John Utaka, & Nwankwo Kanu combine in the English Premier League history. He is the first African to score a hat trick in UEFA champions league history & the youngest, at the age of 19!!. Yakubu Aiyegbeni as a footballer is more than average. I love all his goals. He is always on 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!
doesn't change the fact that he is one of the most prolific scorers in EPL history. I am Nigerian and in hindsight that miss is insignificant considering everything else he accomplished. People just love failure more than they appreciate success. Yak is vastly underrated. And I don't just mean Everton, Boro, Portsmouth etc. he is 3rd highest scorer for Nigeria of all time! He was more prolific than Kanu Nwankwo, but isn't loved in the same way, because he wasn't as technical. Mind you Kanu also missed a horrible sitter, although in the EPL, not in the World Cup.

This Guy should be one of the best penalty taker
Some striker. What a forward line we had then: Yakubu, Viduka, Hasselbaink. Scored goals everywhere they went.
6 minute mark i was there as a 12 year old. i remember that boxing celebration. my dad got me a takeaway afterwards too. good times.
What takeaway was it?

@@Bprovo yak is massively underrated tbh
@@Bprovo He’s the highest Nigerian goal scorer in the premier history with 95 premier league goals
But I'll never forgive him for the goal he missed against south Korea in 2010 in South Africa 😡
Why?? This is weird. Even messi and ronaldo have missed sitters
