Imagine if he didn't have the injuries. He was a season away from carling cup victory. But imagine if we had him in the European team. Madness. So pleased he graced the prem as a red
Hell of a lot of nostalgia watching this, what a striker. The goals that he scored at grounds that don't exist anymore. Highfield Road, Filbert Street, The Dell, White Hart Lane.
@@dellecapacitailcoraggiofis7536 I know what you mean but he always had a knack for creating chances. He should've had a far greater career. It happens but he's still class.
The best player from Croatia ever in my opinion. Yes, injuries cost hime dearly but had he been injury free it would not be only an opinion of a few ( most put Suker, Modric, Boban, Prosinecki..)
C mon he was extremly talented (great dribbling, pace, strenght, technique, first touch...) but he didn t have final product just watch his weak stats...Don t be nostalgia merchant, he is not even TOP 5 Croatian players- Modric, Suker, Rakitic, Mandzukic, Perisic...If he had potential to became best striker in the world but he didn t fullfiled it!

How many times this player scored a crucial goals for the teams and country that He played for and at the end injury stopped him every time He would become the best striker of the season or a tournament ...
He must be one of the rare players that scored more goals with his "weaker" foot, never realized he was right to footed until I seen him taking penalties
@@mjjfk8750 i think this list is for Croatian golden generation of 90s (I'd agree with him, would only put Jarni before Vlaovic)...and ofc - Modric is the best ever, after him (for me) is Boksic
Oh my god tell me about it. Look at these players, the memories are incredible!! Nowadays people are getting excited by signing Chupa Akpom form some reject league lol. In fairness, Neil Warnock is doing well with what he's got but the Boro of the past is sadly long gone. Shame.
I kinda like that more than over the top ludacris stuff. Hes just doing his job, what hes payed for. Ok, if its a 90th minute winner it gets everyone goin mad, but to score for 2:0 in 35th .....Also, hes scored so many important goals in his career, might sound mean, but to score a go ahead goal against Coventry isnt gonna get him too excited.
One of the best stricker's in the world in 90is!And very god person❤
Croatia miss him so much in WC1998

He was way too powerful for his body. His body could not take it.

I've seen some good players at the Boro since 1978, but he was the best, and he couldn't be arsed half the time.
When he was fit and on it he was absolutely unplayable. He had everything. Great centre forward.
Sat here admiring the legend of Alen Boksic. Easily in my top 10
Strikers of all time
One of my absolute favourite players for Boro. He was clinical in front of goal!
It look so easy .. so simpley .. Brilliant player Alen the King of Hajduk Split #
Great player and even greatest man
He was some player! A real finisher. Calm and simply classy.
in Juventus he was everything but a finisher... he missed multiples easy goals but still was my favourite player in that year, simply unstoppable
