We finally drafted a qb who seems worthy of the crown, may have to give him a couple years at least. We're all so anxious for good qb play again
2nd tier seems to have a negative conentation when in fact it means around the 10th best QB in the league and you can win a SB with that QB. As long as you draft well and develop your players.
I was young at the time so idk that well but the charger moved on from Brees so he must have been mid at best. But when he teams up with Sean Payton he throws for 5k yards more times than any other qbs combined and wins a SB. So a 2nd tier qb with a hof type coach could work out well. Yall bring up Brees right after I make this comment 😂
My hopes for Broncos being in the present AFC.
1. Collect more top 64 assets the next few years. (SP please be open to it)
2. Top 10 picks in 24 25
3. QB in 2026 if Nix isn't it
2026 = Arch Manning 🤘
But hopefully Nix will be awesome and we won't need Arch.
Fun fact - the main character girl who finds Max in the desert after being exiled from Bartertown in Beyond Thunderdome is named Savannah Nix.

Interesting conversation. As a Georgia fan I can say confidently that Beck is not the answer. Nix is that guy at Oregon. Beck doesn't show the level of command and leadership, let alone consistency that Nix did. At least to this point.
I don't see any reason to think Bo Nix can't be a top tier QB, so this discussion is bizarre to me.
I'll take Matt Ryan for the next decade opposed to having to draft another lottery ticket QB. We already know Nix is a better athlete than Ryan ever was so he brings that element as well. Nix is ELITE between the ears, has an ELITE work ethic, and is mature beyond his years. His faith is an added bonus. I believe he will undoubtedly produce to his full potential because of all these things.
Bo for next ten years does not rule out a Super Bowl victory. Look at the Ravens SB victory without an elite QB. There have been others.

Honestly, I can’t imagine saying no Super Bowl then football sucks. I watched too much Elway that was awesome and not win the Super Bowl and it was even more awesome when he did it was better to watch Peyton Manning lose in the Super Bowl than to be this it was better to watch Tebow Than to be this
’d be ecstatic if he turned out like Kirk cousins. If you think he’s going to turn out like Derek Carr, let’s just look for a new quarterback right now.
So Bo will get a 1 year audition, which is pretty standard for this fan base and media area. Lets not at all pretend, that as a whole, there is not patience for development anymore....

Pick #5 means we had a bad year & still have questions at QB. Which would mean back to throwing darts and deflating the entire Broncos Community for another head hanging season and smack talking about our Team
Exactly.And then back to back years drafting bust quarterbacks.. Instead of the best lineman or pass rusher.
@@rambowbizz Maybe we should build the roster. 😂 I’m with you though, we’ve given away so many picks with Russ & Payton. That’s why our roster is stacked with mid-level talent. Which could work out fine if some stars start emerging. But not drafting in the 1st & 2nd rounds for 2-3 years. Frickin killed us. Hopefully we’ll trade some unhappy players and get even more darts. I think Bo will be fine. He’s better than he gets credit for.
Elway won 4 games his rookie year and Manning only won 3. I'm not predicting Nix will be HOF talent, but a bad rookie year doesn't mean we should immediately move on to another QB. I'm riding the hopium train hard, but only because the (well deserved) pessimism around the fan base is killing me.
I rather have Denver have pick 32 every year.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Bo Nix hasn't even been to TC yet. We don't know what he looks like running SP's O in a regular season game. Instead of assigning him a "tier", how about wait and see how he does? Then, we can see how Denver does when they get out from under RW's contract.
Imagine every team is trying to chase a championship. But Cecil and Mase, want to chase mediocrity. What a shame
