He was really good and did work hard when starting at the bottom. He will teach his son all he needs to learn about the position. It should speed up his inexperienced start.
Eddie Mac’s career took off in Denver because he was a great blocker to go along with his athletic ability, which early on in Denver kept him on the field more and was able to finally showcase his playmaking skills.
Ed is so smooth and amazing with how he describes what’s going on with the progressions, I love it. Bo nix is the steal of the quarterback draft if you ask me. It’s not JJ MCCARTHY, NOT DRAKE MAYE or Daniel’s.. I think Bo is going to run Payton’s offense like a gem, it might take a year or two to get super comfortable, but if he can stay injury free, we have a qb in Denver, a damn smart and good one too.
RG3, I wasn't a big fan of you in your college days at Baylor (being an Iowa State guy) but you're a great interviewer and your work in the booth when I've caught it was enjoyable. Seeing you chatting with one my all-time favorite Broncos was an instant click. Keep it up! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!
I believe in this QB class and felt if drafted by the right team, they all have a shot for success. It is a very experienced class with lots of reps. It will be interesting to see how they do over time.
Everybody's down on Zach because of the Jets. I look at it like this. Say it's a different profession, I'll use Cook/Chef for an example. If you care about what you do but it's not working out where you are. Do you just say fk it and find something easier just to get by. If you say yes I feel sorry for you. The correct answer is, your gunna find a place that suits you and is willing to teach everything that you'd want to learn. Not just to have something to do, but to better yourself and grow as much as you can. When people believe in you you learn to believe in yourself, and when you believe in yourself there is no limit to what you can do.
If Zach Wilson was really the truth and a number 2 overall pick, there wouldn't be a quarterback competition. He's bigger stronger and has a better arm.And he has not been dubbed the first day starter
@@justinkanicki8044 Where you’re pick in RD1 is overrated. But who picks you could define the beginning or the end of your career. Zach went to the Jets where young raw QBs get destroyed.
@@justinkanicki8044 I'm not saying he is the back up or the starter...... But if he's able to utilize the gift of a second chance to grow and learn from Sean, maybe he could earn that backup spot and we could get something for Stids. The Jets destroy a lot of their big pieces and never learn. It's like Washington but it's looking like they're at least attempting to turn things around.
I think Bo is the future, but it's hard to say if it is the best to put him out there right away, or to let him sit a year to understand how it's going to be. I like all 3 of our guys, so I'm fine with whatever. I don't think we're going to win a SB this season regardless, so patience will probably be necessary no matter what. But who knows, we might get it going faster than anyone can predict.
Strongly believe Bo should be QB1, Zac should be QB2, and Jarrett should be QB3. Yes, JS knows the offense, but he didn't look great executing it last season. Having a practice squad QB who knows the offense and can run it if the starter and backup both get hurt isn't a bad thing.
I really wanna see Wilson do well but maybe that's just because I love the broncos. But Nix for sure is the starter and I have a lot of faith in him. Go Broncos!
I was upset that the Giants let Ed go back in the days. I’m glad that he found success; and he ended up passing his and his wife’s genes to their kids as great College and NFL athletes.
My money is on Zach Wilson. Better arm, more NFL experience, better prospect coming out than Bo Nix. If anyone can resurrect Wilson’s career, it’s Sean Payton. Denver way over drafted Bo Nix. Of course they’re gonna talk him up.
From what I’ve heard/seen from Denver practices Zach Wilson is the clear cut third on the depth chart. Tbh he doesn’t start a single game he’s been struggling in practice and the other 2 QBs have been clearly outshining him.
Nix is a rookie and that will be proven the day he starts playing, Oregon is different than taking snaps in the NFL! Everyone is looking past Zach, but he excelled even when you had no OL, no running game and no OC and a defensive minded coach in New York. Zach has a much better arm than Bo Nix. Zach outplayed Mahomes and had a great game against the Generals. Penalties, and laying all the blame on Zach would ruin any QB. Why didn't Brady want a fat contract with the Jets at the end of his career?Because he knew that he would end up in the hospital with two broken legs with no OL.
Steal of the draft hands down! Figured my lifelong team (Vikings) once again were too stupid to draft him and in fact went seen further into Lunacy and not only didn’t draft him but moved ip to pick Mcwhatshisname from MI!!! 🤦🏻♂️
I'm a Zach Wilson supporter. But I'm not going to hate on Bo Nix by virtue of the the QB competition. But I will warn others out there that there is a small contingent of Bo Nix supporters out there spreading misinformation about Zach and the QB competition. There is also a lot of projecting going on that is not based in reality. We'll see what happens. I don't think anyone knows for sure what Sean Peyton will do. In my opinion, I don't think Sean Peyton yet knows what he'll do.
RGIII... had you on my fantasy team in your rookie year. With Trent Richardson, my fantasy team dominated. An extremely unfair trade mid season, denied me my championship. Man, I was rooting for you after that year. Like seeing you around in sports still. Thanks for interviewing this wonder WR for the Broncos!
Yeah, it's kinda funny how if you have spent not only your career but most of your life dedicated to a profession you can evaluate prospects with some authority. Very strange concept. It makes no sense at all how one of the better receivers in history might know a little bit about the QB position.
Still have his jersey loved watching him and rod tare the league up
Ed McCaffrey is the toughest wide receiver I've ever seen!
Son’s not bad either
eddy mac caught passes that that had no business being caught . a once in a lifetime football player.. thanks ed
He was really good and did work hard when starting at the bottom. He will teach his son all he needs to learn about the position. It should speed up his inexperienced start.
And McCaffrey and Smith blocked their asses off. That run game was one of the best ever
Mccaffrey is the best #2 WR the Broncos have ever had. He used to block like a mad man too
As a Broncos fan I am psyched that we have Bo!I like Zack for second string and Bo as the starter opening day!
Ed by far my favorite bronco of all time because he was tough just like his son
Ed would be a great analyst. He is very well spoken.
the rg3 hat is pretty dope. first time seeing it
RGIII has become a very good interviewer. He works well with McCaffrey.
Eddie Mac’s career took off in Denver because he was a great blocker to go along with his athletic ability, which early on in Denver kept him on the field more and was able to finally showcase his playmaking skills.
I grew up with emulations of him rod and TD... greatest childhood ever :)
Love Ed one of the best and he keeps blessing the nfl with players
Yep rute for his son too
Good to see Ed and hear him talk game.
Listen to Ed McCaffrey talk for 5 minutes and it's easy to see how he raised a son who eventually became the Cover Athlete of Madden.
💀💀💀
By giving him genetics, Ed is a douchebag tbh lol
@@mikemoore1135where’s the lie?
@@5280Misfit not a lie it’s just funny he mentioned the cover athlete of madden out of all the things he’s done hahaha
Broncos legend 💯
Go bo!
I love Ed McCaffrey ❤
Ed was such a great blocker, receiver, and football player.😊
That block he threw where he points at the guy 😂❤
I love Eddie Mac! Great interview!
I am glad to have a Ed McCaffrey jersey, #87!
Ed is easy to work along still. Solid interview men.
I love u RG3 my dog, miss u in the NFL, great QB
RG3 has vegita in the background. Hell yeah!

Full support 🔥
Easy Ed spokes truths without disparaging anyone. He needs more airtime.
I'm so hoping Bo Nix becomes the broncos franchise QB. Please!!! They need this. It's been to long. And tbh Chiefs needs a challenge
TIME ALONE WILL TELL!!!COMPETITION WILL BRING OUT THE BEST MAN.
Stidham is the incumbent starter, Nix is the expected starter. Wilson is an insurance policy, so we'll see in camp
This is Bo's job to loose. For the record, Eddie Mac is my favorite WR of all time. Still got his Bronco jersey in my closet.
I wouldn’t doubt Bo, he’s a very collected QB and he seems eager to take it to the next level in the NFL
Video are best but you are always best
Payton also wanted Jarrett Stidham... the guy the media has entirely forgotten. Don't be shocked if he's the starter in 2024.
Huge guest! Still trying to find an Ed McCaffery jersey til this day 😢
Custom order it bro. Especially before they sell out the old jerseys.

This reminds me of zach Wilson in NY the O line is garbage so it won't matter..

Bo Nix is going to do awesome in Denver! Caleb Williams may be the biggest bust of all time despite his talent.
