@@georgeolivo4537 Where did you get that elevation? I grew up in Kidapawan City and I personally knew the Mountain. Been hiking 7 times since Highschool of that peak and as stated in history and in tourism, that is the height of Mt. Apo... 3,142.79 meters (10, 311 ft) above sea level...
Grew up in that area maybe a kilometer or so from there, but there are 2 more tunnels ahead to the North-West which was used to hide Japanese artillery and personnel it was much bigger than that one and the other one is same as that one which is also in a park/resort location GAP Farm to be exact. There was a time in Davao that the Japanese population was as large as the Filipino population and most of them stayed at the Mintal area, most of the Japanese were working on farms growing abaca. And as far as I could remember my grandmother's house used the end tail of American (Air 85 pounder) bombs of World War 2 as pots for plants. A side note, 7kms of tunnel is a hoax how in the hell can the Filipino prisoners and Japanese work on such a long tunnel when they are at war against the guerrillas and americans🤪

The word "dictator" was US propaganda only and the world believed it, but that's changing. He wasn't a dictator. He began the first golden age of infrastructure development, copied by Lee Kwan Yew, when it was still a slum area after being kicked out by the Malaysian Federation.

Thanks so much! Video of the Mt. Apo climb is out next week!
In 1973 11,000 plus feet na bumaba pala ang sukat?

great exploring Davao Eddie, my hometown
but where is that Japanese tunnel?

Haha I am the same with touristy places in London! You should deffo visit the tunnel though, that was awesome!
What was that little kid who randomly came up to you asking that you said no?
He was asking for money. I feel so sorry for those kids but giving them money just encourages their parents to keep sending them out to beg.

Yes. Marami ding squatter or slum areas, but the biggest difference with other major Philippine cities is that it is cleaner and more organized.
