So sad what happened to the residents of Marawi city..I hope the siege will never happen again..Here we are christians living in the Luzon area & haven't exoerienced the traumatic experiences the marawi residents experienced. But the marawi residents today are resilient people & so admirable to see the smiles on their faces after the tragedy they've gone through.

My heart goes out to the people that have suffered such traumatic evens? Five years on and they are still suffering, hope things start turning around for them. Harry thanks so much for giving us an insight to there lives…..so very very sad, such pain.
Yeah agree they really had sufferef so much but that was also the turning points in their life because before that war happened most of the people has indifferent attitudes towards peace and order. Many of them before are keeping a blind eye or are some are even symphatetic on what was happenjng like the cultures of criminalities such as kidnappings. Drug problems ,gunrunning , women traffickings and many others. That city was once a haven of criminalities long time ago.

I understand that many people are disappointed that Marawi City has not been fully restored yet. However, I am still grateful that Pres. Duterte was the president during that time. I can't imagine what would have happened if it were a different president. I don't know how they would have handled the conflict. The terrorists timed the attack to begin when he was out of the country so he had to return to the Philippines immediately due to the situation. No assistance was received from the US, but fortunately, Pres. Putin provided assistance and we were able to purchase firearms from Russia. I am very thankful to President Duterte and to our brave soldiers who sacrificed a lot and fought bravely. My biggest fear back then was that the terrorists would succeed in Marawi and take over the entire Philippines. Fortunately, they did not. As of now, I am pretty sure that Pres. Marcos will continue to restore Marawi City, he just has a lot of other priorities at the moment.
WOW! a really unique vlog today Harry. hats off for showing the aftermath of Marawi. Would like to see more but I guess time isn't on your side when filming it. i just hope the new government put the people back to where they belong by supporting them especially in terms of money so they can rebuild their homes and get back to normal life again.
Majority of the Maranao people are very helpful and friendly. Speaking from experience when me and my brother drove there from ZC last year.People go out of their way to give directions to restaurants/eateries,stores etc.
You are brave. You are the first foreign vlogger who witnesses a war-torn city by ISIS in the southern Philippines, particularly Marawi City. I guess the peoples of Marawi are friendly and very welcoming.
Little advice if you want to go. A Place like our area southern Mindanao.and you don't know nothing . Ask assistance from local government.. i cant say our place is safe but its not dangerous too. . Safety first. . Dont just walk aroud . Some things happen unexpectedly..
Hi harry my love, i suggest you to explore tubbataha reef one of the most vibrant and stunning underwater corals, fishes in the world. Take some time to watch finn snow in tubbataha reef video here in youtube to give you an idea. You have to see that amazing place. Take care my love harry. 🧡🇵🇭

I don't know him but atleast it looked like you were on good hands.
marawi is one of the so called ancient cities of the philippines like manila.originally, called dansalan, the spanish forces attempted to captured it thrice in 16th and 19th century.they just succeeded it later on 1890 s with the death of amai pakpak and datu sinal, two of the maranao leaders at the time.

I was also a evacuee from the main battle area of Marawi. Thank you sir for this video it will enlighten the people all around the world if there are any improvement after 6 years of the siege.
Big fan brother from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Harry your bravery is commendable! This is almost BBC-like documentary reporting.
Nice video content Harry.. Thanks for for taking us in Marawi... So sad they're not totally recovering..
Absolutely thrilled to see you back.
Well done for covering Marawi. Uniquely documented. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Wow Harry, you've gone BBC on your channel. Big step up you did. Looking forward to your adventures.
Quality vid mate 👏🏼🔥 good man for going here
Thank you sir!
From a person who live in Manila, you are so BRAVE and yet, I have never visited Marawi or other places in Mindanao😢
The man the myth the legend harry jaggard is back
Wag nyo na ipaalala Yan..masakit samin Mga pilipino Yan.

This is the first vlog I watched from your channel and definitely not be the last. Thank you for showing the other side of Marawi. The resiliency, smiles and hopes of people of Marami is incredibly and amazing and admirable. Cheers to you and keep safe.
@@bornonjuly7052 thank u for for giving me an education on what it was like before. So very hard to think a human can be so cruel to there own. Have traveled a lot and try to go where tourist don’t go, but u can never get what is really happening. People don’t open up that easy, it’s to do with trust and feeling safe with that person. Once again my heart goes out to the people and there culture. New Zealand.
@@maryannesmith1392 I was from marawi and yes, you are right. There is still a violence that is happening around here. Kinda sad actually😢
Thankyou harry for visiting groundzero most affected area in islamic city of marawi ❤️
Such a brave act and kind hearted you are, i only watch ur reels from facebook but when i watched u visit our beloved city u already have my respect ☝🏻
Yes so glad putin and russia helped us i hope he continues to have influence in the philipines. Dred to think what would be like without there help.
wow welcome back in the philippines harry
It's only Filipino soldiers which fought in Marawi it's against the Philippines constitution for foreign military to intervene in the fi
16:21 Your guide is very friendly and a good person.
WOW! a really unique vlog today Harry. hats off for showing the aftermath of Marawi.
Thank u Harry for showing this. It’s been neglected and it’s sad to see. Hopefully something good come out of it.
Thanks for sharing the video sir Harry, just watching now, take care always, Kokoi from Cagayan de Oro City

I am from Marawi, And Id wish for you to coordinated with the local government first or at least befreind a group of locals to join you through the adventure. Atleast Kuya Kokoy was with you.
Thank you harry it's so sad that it feels like marawi had been forgotten by many specially the government
