Mark I’ve have the awesome experience of driving the 2024 1794 trd pro from Cedar Rapids Iowa to Great Falls Montana. My son purchased this vehicle three weeks ago. It’s the same color as the on in this video. I’ll be here two weeks enjoying the ride. Take care
Great walk through of the different features! Seeing all that Mag Gray has me wondering what colors will be available for 2025. I know Mudbath on the Pro, but I'm hoping Underground and Bronze Oxide will be available on regular trims. That Ridge Green on the new Hakone GR86 would look awesome on a Tundra!
Formative Review, I just bought my 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 TRD package, and I am floored with it. It looks very distinctive from the outside and inside, but there are things that concern me a little bit, which is the recalls from the factory. I know Toyota they do pretty a good job on taking care of any type of issues but I’m still wondering Any idea about the 2024s is affected by the potential engine failures?
If money wasn't a factor I would choose 1794...However I'm completely happy with my 2024 Limited...like you say Mark it's definitely the sweet spot of Tundra's! So reality it's Limited for the win...and my budget...lol
Just wondering why are they still pin striping tundras in the US . They don’t do it for the Canadian market. Personally I don’t like the pin stripes, how do you feel about them
Nope. There Are No Deals😦 Prices Are so ludicrous that no mark up stickers makes it feel better. Kind of like someone putting thorns under your fingernails, but not pushing them in so deep.😬 Wait until elections are over and see where the deals start popping up at. Today I had my oil changed on my 2016 Tundra being $70.00. The dealer had a new 2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD at only $146,000😮
You just have to research around. Some of the PA lots I visit have 6-8k off right now. Ive seen some in my country wide research 10k off. Just depends on area.
I got my first Tundra and decided to go with Limited, love it! Perfect fit.
‘21 Platinum fan here…incredibly great value in this current climate. 👍🏻
I have the 2024 1794 TRD off road and it is very nice. The TRD takes most of the chrome out. I think it’s way nicer than the platinum.

I took off the TRD sidesteps and replaced them. They didn’t stick out far enough.
Thank you for this 🤝
does load leveling come on any other trim? Platinum is the only trim I can find it on and never with TRD offroad package.
Get a 1794 or Platinum with iForce Max long bed TRD off-road 3”lift and your set. You don’t see a TRD Performance package very often?
They didn’t come out yet. I think they pushed them off until 25 because of the recall

There some 2024s out there with issues, but no numbers are known. Just stuff people post on forums
Pin strips looks horrible. What brand is that hood bug deflector?
They have weathertech there

They sure do like bug deflectors. Haha and pin stripes. I still can't decide between limited and platinum.
If money wasn’t a factor, Platinum with all the features standard and the genuine leather would be my choice
Lets call it a $30,000 spread between SR5 and TRD PRO. Seems like that needs to be simplified.
More like 28-30k between SR5 & Capstone, which is the highest priced Tundra
Can you explain the Limited Premium package?
Limited premium package adds premium led headlights, trailer backup guide with straight path assist, digital rear view mirror.
Just wondering why are they still pin striping tundras in the US .
They don’t do it for the Canadian market.
Personally I don’t like the pin stripes, how do you feel about them
Im not a fan. Its a Jersey thing!
can you get Navigation on the SR5?
Yes, its part of the connected services. I use the navigation on my apple phone through apple CarPlay though.
Was there no Capstone Tundra on the lot?
Nope. But if you want some videos of time I spent with the Capstone, check these links out below:

Platinum the Way to go
Very well done
Definitely the Platinum.
My Limited has acoustic windshield
Yes sir! I forgot to add limited
@@TundraDude34 Rattles from the drivers door, whistling noise from the mirror. The acoustic windshield does no good. Any advice? I own a 2024 1794.
Idk with all that motor problem going on I don’t think I would risk it
Did you see what TRD Jon bought? He made a great choice.
Who do you think helped him? 😁
@@TundraDude34 Probably some weirdo like me who is always looking at Autotrader. 🤣
Hahahaha you know it!
SX all the way if you can get it with 4WD, Softex and the video mirror.
SX is a low level interior. No softex, no digital rear view mirror, yes to 4x4
Platinum
Jeez a basic SR5 is 53k
Wild right? I paid 58k (sticker) for my 23 double cab, but its fully loaded….just doesn’t have a useful backseat 🤣
@@TundraDude34 are those bug deflectors on all the tundras at this dealer or some sort of paint film. I can’t tell
@ChristendomUL weathertech bug deflectors at that lot
@@TundraDude34back seats are not spacious?
Which model/trim has the roomiest rear seats? Thanks.
I was speaking of the smaller tundra cab option, the double cab. The crewmax cab is plenty spacious

I just don't like the totality horizontal grill of the SR5. It's ok plain Jane cheap looking.
62k and no leather seats. Lol
Dont buy one! Interior on all of them are full plastic 💩
