Looking forward to both your views and opinions. I do agree, RS with RR suspension, (even as an option) would make it a more useable bike for 80% of the time.
Brilliant 👍👏👏👏. Think Triumph need to watch this carefully. Great rapport you two 🤗 excellent ride scenes too just the right balance well edited Kate 👍👏👏👏😉

Another fantastic video Kate, you just smashing it! As a 55 year old RR owner, 100% agree if triumph could offer the semi active on the RS then we would have the worlds first perfect bike! The RS springs are way to stiff for the road. Not something you can dial out with compression/rebound. Im 110kg with gear on & its still way to firm. Triumph are you listening! AU
I really enjoyed listening to you both talking about the riding position, handling, suspension etc of the bikes. There is lot of experience and knowledge of motorcycling there and it's great to see. Looking forward to part 2.
Kate - another great video! Since watching it, I visited the Country Cottage Cafe today, which I discovered from your vlog.. Not really a biker cafe as it is more upmarket with higher prices, but very enjoyable, none the less. So thanks for that. I live in Cheshire, but ride the areas around Leek and Buxton on regular day trips - beautiful countryside and great roads. 👍
Fantastic!! Excellent real-world feedback on the ‘bikes and in a way we can understand, from a couple of well-versed and eloquent like minded people. There’s a real dynamic you two have going on, maybe think about more videos together? Nice work! 👍👍👍
Interesting video Kate. I would completely agree with you. I’ve ridden and reviewed both the RS and the RR, the RS is the one for me because of the riding position. I agree about the suspension too. I actually spoke to Ohlins at the Bike Shed Show and it’s just not possible to transfer the semi active suspension on to the RS, it needs to come directly from Triumph. It would be cool though as you do notice the difference in the ride! Part Two here I come! 🤪👊 BTW, that cooked breakfast looked awesome! 🙏
Your nailing it on your test rides. Fun to see you and Ruby banter about. Like Dave Moss in his bike tuning, you have to fit the bike and ergonomics to your body. Age does throw some curves into the mix, I've got an ankle that goes out (45 degrees) every fifteen years or so. You girls take care and I cannot wait for you to put part two up.
Fantastic roads around the Yonderman's. Just point the bike in any direction and uou can't go wrong. For sheer scenery, if you are ever up that way again, check out Castleton if you haven't already.
That was a nice collaboration please do it again.. I have the idea, in a matter of speaking that because of your Hand injuries you are mainstream ( nothing wrong with that) And Ruby is hardcore, she looks like one with the RR instantly. Very nice vid Kate. And congratz with the 35K subscribers, on to the next 35. Big thumbs up👍👍🇳🇱
Great bikes, nice ride… I too find the RS way to stiff, I have another trial in a few days and adjusting settings to what triumph deem the comfort settings, the light weight riders feel it the worse since I’m told it’s set to normal for around an average 14 stone bloke. If I can make it more pliable I will buy if not I can’t live with it.
Interesting collab. I like sportbikes so would prefer the riding position of the RR, but that RS has a really nice macho beast look to it so looks wise I would like the RS. Probably perfect to me would be to swap the suspension and sport handlebars from the RR to an RS. 👍
I'm with Kate on this one. RS riding position but with the dynamic suspension of the RR. I've recently sold my older Speedy and had managed to dial-in the suspension to suit me. What adjustability does the RS suspension have. Can it's "hardness" be dialed out a bit for road use? The last of the previous generation RS are going for big money where I live... seems folk still rate them. Better bike for general use??? BTW... Great video. Really appreciate the informative discussion.
