Nice. Thanks Don. Sounds great, looks beautiful. Love the body shape. I've heard a lot of good things about this guitar. I'm about to get myself one of the NA finishes. Cheers.
SweetwaterSound I just discovered something I've never seen.I recently bought Epiphone220S and love it..But the saddle is really odd to me most are simply a straight bone or plastic I believe but in changing strings I noticed that the saddle has little lowered section and a little lip like piece in other words its not just a straight even on Both sides what's up,?… it hard to describe..😕
Could you please suggest which one of these Epiphones would be best if one wants decent bass and also rich sounds? 1) AJ 220S 2) DR 220S 3) Dove Dreadnought (Not PRO model) 4) Hummingbird (Not PRO model) Thanks in advance :)
if u r rich then go for martin 0000 - 14 fret all koa guitar..it sounds like heaven and the most unique sounding guitar you might not have probably heard..;)..anyway i would recommend u to go for dove dreadnought..it sounds good..open, rich sound, best for studio takeup...best of luck
Always liked Epiphones, always nice guitars especially since I'm protective of my 3000$ Martins and Gibsons and almost never feel like taking them out of my studio or house. Great guitars for the price. Only thing I'm not a fan of is that headstock, looks too long and fake like they were trying to make it look elegant but failed and it came out really cheap looking. But otherwise for 200$, it looks like a good deal.
MoshGremlin That was my guess. It's a good, round sound. I have an old Epiphany PR-200 that I've had since 1998. It's beat up now but it serves it's purpose. Now i'm hunting for one with a less chunky neck.
Sounds beautiful
I'm a beginner and I got one used for $100 USD. All I had to do was replacing the old strings on it.
It sounds great. I recommend it.
That's a great deal.

Right now, I have a DR-100 in Vintage Sunburst but am considering upgrading to ether this one or the Hummingbird.
I'm in the same predicament, did you ever end up choosing??
Yea i wanna know too
How does she compare to a Brunswick please? Thinking of buying my wife an Epiphone.
I just got this guitar and I was wondering what the pick like thing was below the Barcode was
Hi lightningwaterair. We're not sure we're understanding you. Are you referring to the Epiphone logo placed at the bottom of the pick guard?

I got mine for $50 at a yardsale and the only thing it was missing was the truss rod cover (if you could call it that).
What mean the index CH HDWE on Epiphone guitars?
Amazing sound.
The one in this video sounds better than ones in others.

Sounds surprisingly resonant for an acoustic in that price range.
Probably because of the Mahogany
