Tbh you aren’t missing a great deal with the anthology on PS4 it’s just a direct rip of the PS2 game which suffers a great deal of input lag issues - just pick up the games individually from arcade archives, all arcade perfect ports and all available on switch.
the final boss fight of this game never fails to make me teary-eyed. just the way everyone comes together to fight a common enemy always does something to me idk why and ik i shouldn't feel bad for the enemy they probably did a bunch of nasty stuff to civilians and just forming an alliance with a hostile alien race is probably whole new levels of war crimes in and of itself, but still.

No, it is not fixed, and I assume it never will be unless its re-released in another format. I bought it a couple weeks ago when it was on sale.
