Metal Slug games are absolute masterpieces. The detail and blending of the pixels are at a level we never seen again.. it's literal godlike in terms of art.
The escape from the zombie clones still gives me chills, it's so frighting, it's very likely you turned zombie before managing to get to the final area of the game before the final boss, so you know the kind of power the zombie has, but considering how the normal clones are quite nerfed compared with a playable character you could don't actually expect the zombies to have the blood bomb... But they do... and they become faster the closer you're to end the game...

This boss battle aint that tuff the boss is predictable the red hits where you are you just jump or move a diffrent way and the yellow is a bullet hell just move around to avoid getting hit its not that hard

Out of curiosity from randomly seeing a couple of Metal Slug 3 videos of something, here I am watching a playthrough of the game. Also, hearing that "Enemy Chaser" for my first time was actually someone's insert of it into their video of a game they played at the time.
I just played through this for the first time today. It's crazy how many times I died. Mission 3 onwards I think I was continuing about one every 1-3 minutes... Not dying, continuing.

I think staying in the middle increases the chances of those ghost things to pop up instead of the yellow ones. However though it's still baffling to me that the dreaded yellow ones never popped up even once. Lucky but still an amazing run and I do not think turning into a zombie counts as "death"

@@ew4525 yea SNK is pretty much on life support. mobile games is their stuff now. i just want a fun 2 player coop like ms. i still have a shred of hope they will release new ms and kof even though the chance is slim.
@@arslaanpasha3334 same reason Nokia went down. SNK excels greatly at 2D sprite and arcade games, but too late to jump on the 3D and home console bandwagon, which were booming during the 2000s. by the time they do 3D, quality ain't as good as their previous installment, so sales drop.

I know right, some other details plus this make me think that this "level 8" on ps5 is just a "good enough for kids" difficulty. In the end, on ps5 you can not get any money from the player killing him over and over, (opposite to arcade machines difficulty intended to get coins from you) on consoles is just a "here is your 8 in the bottom display, go and have fun" lol

Bruh, how lucky did you get on the mission 4 boss to only get the spirits and laser with zero red or yellow beams... not to mention how didn’t you die from the purple rings when the spirits explode, looks like you got hit a couple times unless the ring doesn’t count as damage as it fades?

First time notice the snails actually spin to death when being drilled. After all these years, I can still find new detail in this game.
That 3 seconds left over against the boss made me hold my breath.

When I was a kid too I played Metal Slug 1 at the arcade so often that I could beat it with 1 coin. But MS3 is so much harder...
