Metal Slug Anthology - Metal Slug 4 (2002) Full Game Level-8 Run. Recorded from a PlayStation 5 (PS5) console.
I've noticed that the difficulty is way harder than the Level-8 on Arcade, this is the console port and the bosses' HP are bumped up. So I'll call this Level-10 instead
Unlike on the PS4 Pro, PS5 Game Boost is enabled by default. This means you don't have to do anything to enjoy your PlayStation 4 games at their very best on the PlayStation 5. Metal Slug 4 (メタルスラッグ4) is a run and gun video game for the Neo-Geo console/arcade platform created by SNK. It was released in 2002 for the MVS arcade platform and is the fourth game in the main Metal Slug series. Metal Slug 4 retains the same gameplay as previous titles, with the addition of some new enemies, bosses, weapons, several new vehicles and a new bonus combo system.

I know many people criticise this part of the series, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I still remember how cool it was to me as a child when I saw the new characters. The music in this part is also great, fits the missions and maps very well. Plus the final boss seems pretty original too.

@@izharulhaq9114 I think the most thing nitpicked by people is how most of MS4 uses only reused assets and such. If you pay attention to the boss' designs, lots of parts were used in previous MS bosses before.
I always LOVED the concept of Level 4 being an Amusment park which had a horror theme with Zombies in one side and a Tomb in another part. Which are both being overrun with Zombies and Mummies while works/actors are slowly realizing they are the real thing and try to run from the carnage

Honestly they probably should have just reused rootmar’s brain wave. It’s much more obviously dodgeable, and the game already reuses loads of assess anyway lmao.
People tend to hate MS4 a lot for being all recycle assets, but i like it.
@Grrrizzly Technically right, although X was moreso fixing 2's slowdown with a few added things to make it even better. 4 was supposed to be a brand new game over a definite edition

I don't think it is only appliable to fio.
In fact, in 4 if it happens, with any character, it hits you but it doesn't hurt you, it only takes away the weapon you're carrying and leaves you with the pistol,
And to get up fast, it's just pressing the fire button many times

guys is it just me or does mission 5 boss got some seriously bad rng (unless you get the rocket launcher like banden did from destroying the tiny missiles)? that part always ruined my deathless runs for this game lol.
also I didn’t know people hated this game, wow. my personal favorites are this one and ms3. can’t hate any of them since it reminds me of the good old nostalgic arcade days

A PS2 in a PS4 in a PS5
This is one of the laziest ports I've ever seen. PS5 running a PS4 game emulating a PS2 game which is poorly emulating NeoGeo with a ton of input lag. Great job SNK. If you want to play these games on modern platforms, play the Hamster ports. They are extremely high quality, and I don't notice any input lag, which is crucial for games like this and others like KOF.
