I just have to say that in the comics, Arishem the Judge (the red celestial) has a formula written on his hand for Earth's annihilation. In the comics he threatens to use it if humanity is deemed unworthy by the celestials. So maybein the movie he was keeping the Eternals hostage, and forcing them to do his bidding, by threatening to destroy the very thing they grew to love, humans, if they didn't obey. It started off as just a mission, but after 7,000 years it became so much more. My guess is by the end of the movie they are going to team up with the deviants, and take the celestials down, or at least stave them off by showing them humanities worth. I think this would tie in well with the themes of this movie.
Yes, it is somehow related to Ego since he's a Celestial himself, but not completely the same since Ego's goal is to expand himself more by terraforming planets but requires another Celestial power to activate the Seeds he spread throughout the galaxy. Everyone is buying into this image of a Celestial as being Arishem the Judge but if that is who they are saying it is in the movie then they got it wrong. Arishem the Judge (in the comic books) has three rows of horizonal slots as eyes. The Celestial they are showing, is the same Celestial that was shown in Guardians of the Galaxy 1, when The Collector gave his explanation of the origins of the Infinity Stones and that Celestial and this Celestial look to me to be the same (in the comic books each Celestial has a different appearance) Therefore, this Celestial is Eson the Searcher
Thanos being part Eternal, was one reason why the Eternals kept him alive as a baby, in the comics. The Eternals needed to find a way to get rid of Deviants. They thought Thanos mixed genetics would prove useful. As for why things are happening as they are in the MCU now? Well that's an obvious one. It's the journey of the hero. The trial the hero must take. The trial must happen to weigh strength of those needed to take down the biggest of the bad and keep stability in the universe. The eternal universe is waiting for it's champions. Unfortunately, the Avengers we know now aren't at that level yet. And yes! Marvel has thought this far ahead. @@Saia_xx look. It's simple. The celestials wants one of their eggs to hatch. The earth's core has enough heat energy so that it can hatch in 7000 years. But when they will find out the truth, it will a big conflict since if the eternals turn against the celestials they will take their egg from earth and destroy it, similar to eson destroying a planet. But, if they support the celestials, the egg will hatch and a new celestial comes out and destroys the earth or atleast a part of it. This is the main conflict of the movie. Trust me they couldnt do anything imagine the eternals stepping in to help and something much bigger an worse comes into the mix because the celestials would have come an wiped out the entire race an probably would have taken away the cosmic energy from the eternals leaving them helpless so i think the best thing was not to help
Well Ego Was A Celestial Himself, So You're Not Wrong..
Ego is a celestial and that makes peter quill half celestial ig.
Used to be half celestial. I believe he stopped being one after he destroyed his fathers heart.
@@mexamrc his father dying doesnt change anything. he is still half celestrial just doesnt have the powers. if you father was white and he dies does that stop you from being white?
I wonder if they will bring the most powerful being in the marvel comics the one above all into the marvel movies.
Morgan Freeman would be a perfect fit since he also played The One Above All in Bruce Almighty.
If that happens it will be in faaar faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar future for sure or if they do it earlier the one above all will have to appear in his human form.
Gotg 2 said that Ego is a celestial which is a planet. The reason why the eternals didn't interfere is because they are scaeed that the celestials are going to kill the eternals with the people of the planet.
React to comic verse breakdowns and explanation videos 🥺
The eternals made the right choice. It was either allow thanos and half of earth is wiped or stop him and the celestial destroys the whole of earth
Jaby please react to the new " He-Man and the masters of the universe" trailer released on Netflix yesterday.
You have to remember they aren't human. They have been around for a long time. Who says ours is the first planet? They have seen destruction all through our history. 7,000 years worth, so Thanos would be just another thing. The earth would remain, but who knows if the Avengers hadn't won and Thanos was going to destroy the Earth completely they may have stepped in. They didnt need to. In this case they know the earth will be destroyed.
Like many in the comments said. If they disobeyed the celestial earth would just be destroyed.
Your right jabby, its connected to guardians of the galaxy 2
Hmmm...he should have clarified most of this was predictions and assumptions...or at least prefaced with "at least in the comics..." (Especially when it comes to a celestial growing inside earth) like eric voss does...
That makes it clear its a speculation video, this on the other hand is simply presenting speculation like it's confirmed plot points 😂 and jaby and achara are like... "Woah..that's exciting" 😂😂
after watching this i m more confused ... so i say just see it and then u will know when eternals timeline exactly fit
maybe ancient humans' houses, Jaby
star-lord is a celestial-human hybrid so he is more powerful than the eternals because he has a direct line to the celestial ego peter's father
Not anymore
Well..not anymore since he lost that connection with him killing his father.
Not anymore😂😂😂
@@joselitoluis7727 but still, he should have the celestial genes, right?
@@Roxxfeed nope it is gone. It's not that deep
Wanda was using cosmic energy too she’s apart of why the celestial is coming
No she isn't, the Eternals are here because of the deviants.
@@anouar3194 no shot Sherlock I’m talking about the cosmic energy being use 🙄
@@Saia_xx look. It's simple. The celestials wants one of their eggs to hatch. The earth's core has enough heat energy so that it can hatch in 7000 years. But the celestials had already convinced the eternals that their mission is to protect humans from deviants. And about Wanda's power, no it's not from the power cosmic which is used by eternals and celestials. It is from chaos magic, provided to her by the eldritch God of chaos, chthon. Which will possibly connect to thor love and thunder, introducing gorr the God butcher.
Yea ego is also celestial
Sometime i feels that we shouldn't watch trailers because it ruins our some good shocking experience while we watch any movie.
A very good example is fast and furious 7, the major two best car sequences were already in trailer.
Ego is a different Celestials, that is different topic. There will be no connection between Ego or Ego’s egg and the Eternals movie
Indeed ego was one kind of celestial .. that's why his plan was to destroy the planet
Atleast now we know there is no connection to loki finale in Shang chi...otherwise Jaby and achara's reaction wouldn't be "huh??" here. Good to know 😂
Of course it will pays off. You DID watch Shang-chi right!?
Thanos is eternal with deviant syndrome !
Starlords father is a celestial also
please do some pitch meeting reaction
Jaby there is a new black myth wukang gameplay trailer, its so good 🌋💯
Thanos is half deviant and half eternal also thenas(Angelina jolie) is a cousin of Thanos 😁,
SPOILER ALERT
they said maybe we can see young version of Thanos may appear in Story telling of ERERNALS.
You Guys please react to the new rockstars breakdown video also when it comes out.
..if the eternals fought thanos...then there would'nt be an END GAME.
Thanos is an eternal. WITH a deviant gene
I love Achara🥰😘
Ego is a celestial
Yo.... I don't think these guys (or anyone for that matter) understands the consequences if they were to interfere with the human conflict. Everyone would've friggin died. EVERYONE! "Oh no......WW1......let's step in and save little timmy"......NO! Because they would've just ended all life on earth. Go against YOUR CREATORS!? Smh. I can't imagine how they felt just watching the innocent lives being taken and knowing they can't step in to help. for THOUSANDS of years??? That sucks.
