totally agree, it has amazing audio, lots of editing on its front panel, excellent synth, capable of making any type of sound efficiently, love this ❤️
i’m so glad you like it! this synthesizer is great, it offers a lot in a single rack unit and it sounds beautiful, capable of sounding analog or digital, it can make all kinds of sounds, a lot of control from its panel, maybe a bit awkward having so many knobs so close together, but I think that is possible to do everything only with this (with a very pleasant sound), excellent product, if you try all the presets you can see the great variety that it achieves
I have one of these I bought 20yrs ago and have recently got it going again. It great synced with other synths both new and old. Great sound you’ve got going there!.
Sounds very nice ! I own a KS Rack (i think it's the same sound engine) and i will keep it for ever, there is so many possibilities ! Thanks for that great demo !
I have every synth novation has released. Even A-Station and K-Station sound different, although on paper it should be the same engine. A-Station is a bit more hi-fi and crystalized, but not in a bad way, and K-Station sounds more 70s & 80s analog, I think they regulated a bit the high frequencies, which makes the K-Station a tad warmer. Both are fantastic synths. The following KS-Series (Rack, KS4 and KS5) offered far more waveforms to choose from and added a 4x performance multimode and even a multimode filter , but this sacrified the overall sound quality (waveforms sounded more "sampled" and the filter was weaker). So every synth has it's own advantages to the other.
@@Jauly Thanks for sharing. There is not much online of someone owning the different models and talking about comparing them. Would you rate the K-Station as your favorite sounding of the group by any chance? It's the one I feel the best about looking for.
@@samplequence yes, absolutely everything was done only with that synth, I was listening to some of your recordings and they are AMAZING, excellent, when I have time I will listen all, I was very surprised mate!
I had a local guitar center employee use his discount to buy a used one out from under me. It was only $250. So then he said he’d sell it to me for $400+! I should have called corporate on his ass loo
One of the most underrated synths. If you apply yourself you can make it do almost any sound for music

1:38-1:54 Ooo you got that "woody" synthy bass sound I love! That patch always reminds me of some early juan atkins
yes! that bass sound I like a lot! I love this VA synth ♥️
Dayum this sounds amazing , both in the sounds themselves, and the composition
I would never think was done on an over 2 decade old virtual analog

Nope. The A-Station has got the Nova engine. Sorry.
@@sK3LeTvM1 .....The A station has the A station engine lol.
It is the foundation of the K series all of the way to the xiosynth.
