Wahi na bhai, hum toh left se gand dhote hai usse khana thori khayenge.😂 Acha choro ye "western royal culture" wale chor log toh gand hi nhi dhote , toilet paper se wipe karke chaat lete h. 😂😂
Thank you so much this helped I practiced. From now on I don't think I will be ever eating with my hands at the restaurant😅 U explained everything so well and clear thanks again🙏🏽
Use it comfortably...use the knife with your dominant hand and fork with your non-dominant hand..you can switch it in between if needed but keep it clean and smooth.
We use dominant hand to eat. So we cut with the knife using the right hand and then switch the fork to the right hand and eat... We cannot handle fork in the left..
You need to first peirce food with fork....hold then use knife to cut the food according to ones bite size .....so you're doing the opposite and stop being smart.
And then you rest the knife on the right side of the plate so you can grab it with elegance when you wanna use it again. You messed it up w bit didn’t you
You should always have both knife and fork in hand at the same time. If you need to put them down, you put them both down. Sometimes Americans put down the knife after cutting but it's not the correct way to do it. She demonstrated it very well.
@@WifeyandRinChicago Yeah me too, i don't feel weird in cutting the food with right hand, also i try to do like this all the time coz if i don't people I'm surrounded with might think i don't know the etiquette of holding a fork and knife even though I'm a lefty😭

The video demonstrating table manners certainly offers valuable guidance on Western dining etiquette. However, it's worth acknowledging that the Indian ancient way of eating, with its emphasis on communal dining and traditional customs, presents an alternative perspective. While both approaches have their merits, it's essential to consider which one aligns better with our individual values and cultural backgrounds when deciding how we approach dining etiquette.
You learnt it from west that why you are suggesting to use left hand for fork. If you had common sense you would have improvised this for indian audience. Wisdom has been chasing you but you have always been faster. 🫶🏻
we are not left hand person. We do all good things with right hand. Thanks.
Exactly
Agreed 👍
@DerangedStudent296yeah the American style is very common in Eastern countries. What she described was the European continental style.

It's no reason to eat with your hands in a fancy restaurant
You eat with the fork in your dominant hand, switch to the other one when cutting

It's completely based on which handed you are, if you are a left handed person you need to switch the utensils.
I am left-handed and I eat the same way she demonstrated. I don't know why 😂
According to Vedic culture don't eat with your left hand
Right hand is for eating
Use American style.
As an indian guy, we were always told to eat using our right hand.
That's some myth. Do what you're comfortable with while you maintain elegance and class. Good luck!!

Eating with hands(ofc washed well) has more elegance and class than your fork will ever have
@@ayushprasad8207 eat as you wish. This is for everyone who uses knife and fork to use. If you don’t then it’s not for you simple.

Where to hold the fork if you're left handed? As cutting with knife requires more power which we lefties can do only with our left hands.
