I must say I have never been impressed with RC planes that have those mini propellers. It’s like fighting a headwind on a calm day. This one is an exception. It has quite a lot of speed/power. I’m impressed. Blessings.
Growing up, I only had the balsa wood gliders and rubber band powered airplanes. Something like this beast would have been orders of magnitude better than those balsa wood planes! But we did do a lot of weird and experimental stuff, like taping two rubber band powered planes together so that it sort of looked like Scaled Composites' White Knight Two or the Stratolaunch. Two fuselages, two rubber band engines and tails, and taped together wings. Didn't fly all that well, but it sure looked good when it did! 🙂
My comment is about the helicopter not this plane. This is the ONLY rc channel I follow. The reason for that is quite simple. I really don't believe you are polluted by the sponsorships. I also believe That it genuinely hurts you. When something so expensive comes apart like that helicopter did. The exact same problem on Both with the wheel, Having issues with the battery. They're definitely shouldn't be issues like that with the battery. None of that was your fault. I really appreciate you guys. Those are up very expensive helicopter. I can't imagine how many wealthy families have purchased those for their kids. Then when the kid comes and says it's broken the kid is probably blamed. It may do you some good to contact that company? Your words hold weight
Thank you very much welder, that truly means a lot to us! They definitely have seen our video of it by now, and usually we see massive price drops when we release a video like that helicopter one. It would be wise for them to make a V2 and save as many parts from their first version as possible! I’m guessing it will either sit in their warehouse for a very long time, or they will drop the price like crazy and stop manufacturing it. ⚓️
Im surprised that nobody makes a 3 motor plane with the 3rd motor on the vertical stabilizer so activating it could simulate an elevator. Even with the extra motor it would be still be cheaper, simpler and lighter than a servo controlled moveable elevator. You could probably use a drone transmitter and receiver to get the extra channel
@@TheRcSaylors I know. I have been following FliteTest since the beginning. Is it the only one in the U.S.? Why are there so few RC companies in the U.S?
It depends on how you fly it. If you run the throttle at about 30% constantly, 10ish minutes. If you just use the throttle to take it up high and then glide down, the motors only spin when you turn...25 minutes. Under ideal conditions.
I respectfully disagree. The Aeroscout is not the most friendly trainer. I would take the Apprentice S2 over the Aeroscout for many reasons, and I own both. I would even take the Night Vapor over the Aeroscout for a beginner. Not that they Aeroscout is a bad plane, at all, but the main benefit is not breaking props at the cost of a higher stall speed, and a much longer takeoff distance. I would not recommend a smaller plane unless it's very slow, just for visual orientation reasons.
Wait a minute,,, doesn't hot air rise? Thermals are hot air rising and you're on a asphalt road that should create thermals right. I dont mean to be anal about this but thats correct isn't it?
Hot air does rise, yes and thermals do exist but cool air is more dense and generates lift with an airplane way better! It’s crazy but when the air is cool, you get so much more lift your climb rate is more than double!! 👍💯😎⚓️

Abby deserves a lot of credit for her camera work. I've been watching others and she's definitely got a skill there.
Thank you! 🙏💯⚓️

2:00 Nate, why did you let the little Tweety Bird punk you like that? 😂

Love ya'll and Flite Test!
Lovely couple I love y'all 😘
God bless you guys 😇
I love how they use this platform to the glory of God
You should do a series of planes under 250G
Basically an air hog. I loved those when I was a kid.
Great beginner.
Amazing you can get this for that price. EPP makes it forgiving as a beginner plane
Question: It looks fast. How does it compare to the old DUET?
Awesome bit of kit !
I got mine at flite fest last year. Not my favorite plane but it's a good place to start
Fair enough! 👍💯⚓️
Having a dog fight with a bird that's cool
I love how there's always some kind of argument with you two while filming these videos lmao!
I find it annoying.
Stop watching, very simple lol@@Frequentlytryingtostayflying
You just made me want one
Happy Flying my friend! It’s not bad at all for $40 👍💯😎⚓️
Perfect for me since I have want to fly but only have one hand … don’t want to crash 100$
I totally understand! I wonder if there are transmitters that exist for those with only one hand? If so, I’m not familiar with them. 🤔⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors there is some but would be a whole new learning experience
Aww, I’m sorry for u losing your 1 hand
I am interested in RC planes. I also love God. Thank you for using your social media platform to God’s glory!
I love God too ,instead of tithing this week I might get the pterosaur fx818 motor glider.

Needs to be three channel to be fun.
Adding more channels definitely adds more fun/ control/ cost 👍💯⚓️

Hey Nate,
How actually prduces RC planes in America?
Flite Test! 👍💯⚓️

Cheap, but shipping is a ding.
For $40:us I wouldn't complain
Well said! 👍💯😎⚓️
