I had a contact with an Oleander flower sap when I was young, me and my mom don't have any idea that it is poisonous. I was on my way to our house when I saw a bunch of Oleander flowers, I'm really fond of flowers so I picked them up immediately without hesitation. At night, I started to experience some rushes on my hands, the rushes keeps on getting bigger until it covers most parts of my body. It was really itchy and I felt like my body was swollen at that time. We thought I was under a spell of a dwarf whom the quack doctor/albularyo believed to be sitting on the top of the flower which I picked. While we're in there, the quack doctor said some words to the water which I don't understand then told me to wash it in my body so that the curse of the dwarf will disappear. A few days after, my body got healed. Up until now, I still don't believe that I was bewitched by a dwarf. Fortunately, I found this video. Now, I know that there's a scientific explanation for what happened to me a few years ago. It's because of the sap of the Oleander.
Well, my husbands got two pots of ZZ plant. I didn't know it's that poisonous. Last week, I plucked some leaves and planted them on the planter with my bare hands. Thanks for the info. Now I have to get rid of those plants. .
I cut a peace lilly and the photos, but the knife, i was using is cut my middle finger big cut, can i be poison?, because the knife i was using from the plant peace llily and photos their is liquid in it? But i wait few seconds and hurried up wash my hands and put alcohol in it and i put a Rubber band to hold the blood from my cut so it will not go trhough my blood vessels,, is it working, i am ignorant of this kind of stuff like poison from plants and i am a plantitas, that not study very well with plants or about poison stuff please reply my me through my Gmail acount or here... i am worried
Those Lilies mentioned here are Toxic to cats if Injested only? What about if Cats smells it but not injested please help need further knowledge bout lilies on cats
Almz Alison cats have a habit of nibbling while rubbing their noses n faces on plants not a good idea to keep this plant indoors sniffing might not hurt the cats but once ingested causes kidney failure to be safe just give the lilies away if you can
Are you serious? We had some of these plants at home for generations with no known dangers. Well, if you eat shrubs or dirt on the road, you will be sick. No video is required to explain that. Yes, May be they are not good for herbivores pets..
In my local supermarket, they sell aloe vera leaves in the produce department for use in cooking. Seeing that may lead some people to sample other houseplants to see if they’re edible.

i've 3 videos which says that peace lily, english ivy, photos are air purifier so they are good inside the house .
Poisonous when consumed. jst keeping them is not harmful. One has to be careful with these plants when they hv kids n pets.

We use to eat sago palm new leaves from the bud from ancient times its not poisonous it is known as yendang in our local language
