GeForce Now is just amazing. Their 21$/month plan with RTX 4090 is insane. I don't think I'm ever gonna buy a gaming PC again. I have a 4000$ Alienware that I spilled beer all over it and will cost 1000$ to fix. Now I just use Geforce Now on my Mac and I'm all set.
21$/month may seem a lot but 1300$ will get you 5 years of Geforce Now, which I think it's way more interesting then buying a 3000$ gaming PC that you need to change every 5 years anyway. All they have to do now is adding FF14 and I'm never gonna look back again.
Geforce Now looks excellent if you don't play with mods

@@DSJOO7. You are right, I mistyped. 4080 still pretty decent thought. Giving I only use laptops, I finally get to play on max settings without my fans sounding like an Airbus engine lol

boosteroid has a big issue with latency, and I live right in Romania, in the exact same city as one of their datacenters and I still feel the input latency idk why, but I know im never spending 20 euros on this service ever again, im gonna stick with geforce now for the time being
doesn't letting auto bitrate help you? I have the same issue with GFN - setting bitrate giving me huge input lag (I mean HUGE - like 1-2 seconds at times). While still having same picture. COuld it be the same issue with boosteroid, which treat bitrate differently?

Even around Brussels boosteroid is unusable, while GeForcenow and xcloud are working great
I live in Brazil and am currently working in a different state, didn't wanted to move my gaming rig every month so i left it home, and was missing playing with friends so i started researthing game streaming, all options had cons, Xcloud didn't suport mouse natively(yet) and the game selection was constraining, Geforce Now had good latency but my fav games weren't available(HD2 and Spiderman), boosteroid was a good pick, but i didn't test the latency myself, i went back home and decided to setup my own gaming streaming with Parsec, works great, i bought a cheap smart plug to turn it on over the internet since Wake on Wan was a pain to setup, its running great with 30ms latency, parsec worked great out of the box cause i didn't wanted to leave my monitor plugged in and Moonlight dosen't has a virtual display natively, i tried launching parsec than moonlight to use its virtual display, the latency was a bit better i felt(cause their overlay is shit showing every latency under the sun) so i guess i will thinker with virtual displays and give it a try, hope it helps someone in my scenario, owning not only your games but your own hardware give you so much freedom to play your games, im currently playing the Majora's Mask decompile port, something you could never do in a paid closed source platform
Yeah, but I think nvidia got smoked on stream quality. Tomb Raider looked a lot move vivid to me on boosteroid. But, it's no big deal - you only notice these such things when you're looking carefully at a side-by side. Great video as always! Thanks! 👌

it is not really a relevant comparison to me since the reason why people gravitate towards boosteroid is their library, gfn has a very lackluster choice of games

Been using GeForce now for years with no problems at the max bitrate but boosteroid just lags and stutters and feels so delayed even with the ultra-tier and connected to the closest server in Europe, bear in mind I have a very strong connection with 200mbps plus download I just can't figure out why boosteroid doesn't work for me.

How about the input lag ? Is it better now ? Last time when I tried bosteroid it was very difficult to play a shooter.
All depends on your distance from your server. It will be different for everyone

Hi,I have bought on steam the new dragon ball sparking zero and i have an xcloud ultimate subscription and gfn ultimate one too which i use to play sf6. Does boosteroid allow you to play your steam library even if the game in your library isnt in their supported game list ? Or should i go with something like shadow or airgpu instead? Thanks
You have to play the games on their list

If I only have a 1080p 60 Fps Monitor for Gaming but good Internet, do I still benefit from Ultra/Ultimate on Bossteroid/GFN with better Graphics, Effects and Performance? Or is it purely wasted Money If I can´t use 4k/120 Fps? Thank You
Yea it’s still a stronger machine. Might be overkill for 1080p in many games though

@@CloudGamingBattle not really depends on the game, far cry 6 on ultra, no resolution scaling and rtx enabled get only 70-80 fps on ultimate

I was actually trying to compare that here because it would have been a better test against Boosteroid but they don't have the game.

I noticed a big difference in color
I see people saying color this and that on GFN is not that great...wait you guys forgot the filters you can add on GFN not gonna lie but this makes it tweaking visuals really cool and fixes any "color" issues in my book.

@@CloudGamingBattle I've noticed it on gfn they blur out details like on tree leaves in dark areas and it's the bit rate if you could do a 100 or even to unlimited on bit rate the games would play more native and look more native I noticed a complete difference and color cause of the 80mbs and I think gfn needs to step one up and ready up for unlimited or goes by your bandwidth only

And it's just in dark areas all cloud gaming platforms do this so games play as native as possible so those fine details that the naked eye can't see they blur out I mean you don't notice this unless you slow down and do a complete comparison between a native 4080 and cloud 4080 but all round no one isn't going to beat gfn and if stadia came back out then we have a competition
Sorry but until boosteroid fixes their perf issues (latency) I am not diving into that again. I tested it in the past and boy I felt cheated.
You can fix the issue yourself pretty easily - move closer to Boosteroid servers. Latency depends on your proximity and on (almost) nothing else, so it's dumb to blame latency on the company. Or do you wish they come and put their servers in your house?

Did you even talk to support? Did you do packet trace test to see if you are not getting losses?
@@TomSawyerMF lol if GFN is better than them what the heck do you want me to do should I basically change continent to have a better experience, thats a crazy "fix" smh why dont they get more server close to me after all I'm paying for their service no... Their service from my experience was bad when I compared to GFN thats all I need to know. Until, it gets better I am not diving into that hole again. Now if for some other people it was great then good for them doesn't change my experience.

I am not doubting their customer service I am saying that the product they sold itself wasn't up to the task when I tried it compared to GFN. Now, did it get better I havent heard much toward that direction yet thus my statement.
