I definitely want to read Fresh Water for Flowers. And your review of it made me even more excited to read it. And I definitely want to read some Claire Keegan too ☺
"Whale" was a whale of a tale. I would probably put "Old God's Time" on my list of favorite contemporary fiction for 2023. Thank you as always, Charlotte. Happy Bookmas!
Foster is a brilliant novella, completely agree. Fresh Water for Flowers has been on my TBR for a while, I might try to read it for WIT month next year. I'm getting more and more intrigued about Whale. I loved Birnam Wood by Eleanor Catton this year and a number Australian contemporary novels, All That's Left Unsaid by Tracey Lien and Hydra by Adriane Howell are two that come to mind.
charlotte, good video. thanks- always appreciate learning about new books on the tube. also- europa is really good. always keen to check out their stuff
Foster is on my tbr! I've read a few Keegan in the last year and so and really enjoyed her writing!
I read my first Claire Keegan book earlier this month and loved her writing so I really need to read more of her work. Foster is highest on my list!

I neeeeeeed to read True Biz! And I’m waiting for Whale to come out in standard size paperback in a few months.
Interested list. I’ve read Foster but a couple of the others sound good to me too. 😊💙
When I Hit you is such a powerful book. Really incredible.
First time I've noticed the Santa hat on your end screen and that's awesome.
I love the santa hat! 😂🎅🏻

Thanks for the heads up on Hydra! I've just added it to my tbr
My favorite fiction book I read this year was a toss-up between The Tsar of Love and Techno by Anthony Marra and All My Puny Sorrows by Miriam Toews.
I haven't heard of 2 of those so I will check them out! Thank you!
Ok, 3/5 read and I love them❤❤❤
