Love the whole set-up of this vid - the orange flowers above the tiles (that combo is so beautiful), the green plant swaying in a gentle breeze, and the opening in the door behind you with the tree, your lovey patterned dress. I guess I should now start listening to what you are saying! Ha! 😆

Great call on the Ishiguro! Your review makes me want to re-read a book I loved when I read it about 10 years ago. I thought he was in ruins rather than tunnels, but anyway, your review just makes me want to read it even more. Thanks. I have so many vivid recollections of that book, and my memories of it are like dreams.

I totally agree with you about John Boyne. I love his writing. I bought The Furies a few years back. Youve convinced me to delve into it. Hes one of our finest writers of English. You explained him spot- on. I was So pleased! As I have encouraged people to read him.

I'm currently reading The Changeling by Victor Lavelle. This is the first time that I've read his work and it won't be the last. He's a phenomenal writer! Lone Women is on my TBR.
