Mercedes W124 | How To Remove Steering Wheel

How to Remove and Install a Steering Wheel on a Mercedes E-Class W124. This procedure is mostly the same for all W124 models. Don't forget to disconnect the battery before starting for safety reasons and to prevent the airbag lamp from lighting up in the cluster.

Thank you. I’m having a difficult time removing the bolt, thank you for your video. Part number is a plus.I am doing it correctly, I just need more torque and counter hold the steering wheel.
