My brother just died in a head on collision two weeks ago. 😭 He used to tell my dad he got a lot of his theology from growing up listening to Petra. God be praised for their witness. My brother is in Heaven now!
God bless you you're going to be reunited with him I recently lost my mother in June and we're Jewish at first my mom didn't believe in Jesus but I got to pray for her and then she started slipping I think she was getting dementia and she said she loved Jesus too but she didn't go to church and I brought her a Bible and she didn't read it so I had my doubts but my pastor who is very honest in the past he told us half the people he's buried he didn't know what they were doing but people he knew love Jesus he know where they're at and he told me my mom is with Jesus God is taken care of her so I will see her again God bless you Sister

This song brings me to tears every time. I did not hear it until I was frown and lost both my parents. I know where they are & who they are with and thank you JESUS that I will see them again. This song is one of the best ever to me.
My Dad passed a year ago! He was a pastor for over 50 years and served in a local Nazarene church here in Barbados in the Caribbean for 30 years of that time. My siblings and I grew up under his ministry of course and I became the youth choir director. Back in the 80s when Petra was facing kickback because of its unconventional style, Daddy embraced their music and would listen to the lyrics and concluded that they were biblically sound. Grave Robber was his favorite Petra song. I can see him swaying his head with eyes closed as I blasted the cassette player in our living room. Will see you again Dad, when death finally dies!🎼🙏🏿🇧🇧

I estimate 200 to 300 young people made a commitment to Jesus that night, every member of Petra gave their personal testimony before the altar call, the Holy Spirit was overwhelming, was on "Cloud 9" (whatever that is?) for at least another week!!
Have not heard this song since I was a teenager. Definitively takes a whole new effect as I grew. Many dear people have departed and the hope that we will see them again is what remains.
