I have a few transformers ocs I've been wanting to design, but had no clue where to start. This video really helps with that, when you broke down the steps of how you made yours. It might not be the intentionally for other art mediums, but I feel like it won't be too hard to follow these directions for 2D art and finally make character refs of my characters. Thanks!
Who else thought that Transformer models were made with all the parts neatly packed inside the vehicle and there was some complex mechanism for transformation designed for each robot. What's next? Santa doesn't exist?!
If you're doing it RIGHT instead of this faker shit, they are. Even the Bayformers did that, in the first movie at least. Bay made a big deal of it in the DVD commentary track. (Of course, he also made a big deal about "being the ultimate Transformers expert" because he'd been given a fwe DVDs and comics to skim through, and proceeded to work his way to the ultimate faker BS with one mode exploding into little GDI pellets and condensing into the other, so scrap Micheal Bay.)

that's the only thing that makes me appreciate a Transformers movie. To much work. Congratulations, bro. I would have already messed up in the riggin part

my estimate if I were doing something like this, would be 10-20 hours for modeling, 5-10 rig, anywhere from 5 to 40 to get animation looking clean then another 20+ - to comp.
Man I have liked transformers since 9yrs plus never received any toy since then but after watching this video this has even inspired me to make my own videos and any character of my choice
I’ve been a Transformer fan since they came out until this day‼️ I love all of them in their own way & I love doing Stop Motion animation with my G1 & Movie Transformers🎬📸🎞️‼️
Wow such an amazing tutorial as allways it's crazy how much you offer to learn on your channel i don't know why so many people don't subscribe i did it 1 minute going into the first video i saw of yours that's the least thing you deserve, keep it going 👍
man i just love this video would be cool to see you do a step by step in depth tutorial we could buy. id love to make my own and get to this level of modeling
some habits die hard. see you used pre 2.8 version to model the bot mesh, i still use lightwave then finish up in blender because its what works for me
wow this is extremely complicated and confusing. Just subbed! You deserve more recognition to be honest. Stuff like this are really time consuming. Imagine having a project 2 hours long and 65% of it are robots transforming. dang..
I gave up looking for a tutorial on how to make a transformer since the day i learned about 3D. Then there's this video, free, detailed, with voice-over, just popped on my YT recommendation. Have my like and subscription. I'll be going back and forth here to study and replicate it on MAYA, where I'm more familiar with.
It will be very wrong if I did not like and thank you for this tutorial. Thank you man. How do you animate the motorcycle in your previous tutorial, which add-on did you use?
The tutorial is very good but in order for your audience to be fruitful with your nice video they must learn from it. We look forward to your step by step tutorial so that we would be productive & not just plain viewing & appreciating your video.
BRO You Are A Legend !!! The Amount Of Details In Model Are Amazing Can I Ask You A Question !! how many years have you been using blender ? And Can You Give Me A Genral Advice About Blender How To Learn Rigging And The Best Source For Learning Everything In Blender Because I Have Been Using Blender For 2 Months Or So Now I Can Make Awesome Stuff And Am Very Proud Of My Self And i Am Looking Forward To Be Able To Do What You Are Able To Do Now ! 😆😆😃
Hi! Very cool job! Everything is physically realistic and visually realistic! The work is worthy of the attention of Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay! And it was especially fun to watch how the transformer kicked the Mercedes! I can't stand modern Mercedes!
Great Job!! But still too hard for me.... Maybe another tutorial can detailed step by step introduce how to make a very simple transformers with only few parts.. That will be much easier for catching up everything. Anyway thanks for sharing and really amazing work

I'm so happy to see that it's just an illusion. The thought of someone making all this fit together was driving me nuts.
Who else thought that Transformer models were made with all the parts neatly packed inside the vehicle and there was some complex mechanism for transformation designed for each robot. What's next? Santa doesn't exist?!
Boy do I have news for you.
They used to in 1984, when the cool era ended.
Optimus Prime had like 10 000 which is still really complicated and hard to make.
