I have a few transformers ocs I've been wanting to design, but had no clue where to start. This video really helps with that, when you broke down the steps of how you made yours. It might not be the intentionally for other art mediums, but I feel like it won't be too hard to follow these directions for 2D art and finally make character refs of my characters. Thanks!

Who else thought that Transformer models were made with all the parts neatly packed inside the vehicle and there was some complex mechanism for transformation designed for each robot. What's next? Santa doesn't exist?!

If you're doing it RIGHT instead of this faker shit, they are. Even the Bayformers did that, in the first movie at least. Bay made a big deal of it in the DVD commentary track. (Of course, he also made a big deal about "being the ultimate Transformers expert" because he'd been given a fwe DVDs and comics to skim through, and proceeded to work his way to the ultimate faker BS with one mode exploding into little GDI pellets and condensing into the other, so scrap Micheal Bay.)
