However , we were in Walmart a few days ago and she spotted Mancala, and immediately said, “it’s that game those people play!I”🤣So I of course had to buy it because I had never heard of the game before you guys were talking about it. We absolutely love it! We have had so much fun playing it the last couple of days. ❤
Since our girls were little (now 21 & 18), we watch Polar Express on Christmas Eve. When the hot chocolate part starts, we pause it and get ours too! Also, we wear our pjs and I print train tickets and stamp them before it starts. We love this tradition! 🎄🇨🇦 Merry Christmas ❗️

So we have aging cats and I literally filmed our cats today after bath time cause my husband was so emotional that he worried the cat will die and that will be the last time he gives him a bath. My point is the whole channel will grief that amazing good boy someday. I keep hoping they get another dog to meet Pinocchio to have a friend.
I really felt it when you were talking about singing. I played violin from 7-25 years old. I was Principal Second violon in a (not well known) Symphony Orchestra and made money by playing. I'm now 40. I rarely play and when I do it's me, myself, and I in my house. It is insane the number of people who want me to play for them when they find out about this part of my past. Or consistently ask when I'm going to join the community orchestra etc.

Just a suggestion. But go buy a large silver jingle bell, tie some red ribbon on it and leave it by the fireplace Christmas morning. Then when she rings it. Pretend you cannot hear it! We did this for my son, years ago and he LOVED it! He told everyone that year that Santa lost a jingle bell at our house!

I have had the same toilet issue in the Giuseppe that I oddly have lived infor 7 years as well. I also have had to replace another part twice and it drives me crazy. I have never turned the water off when I changed mine.

I only-vaguely-remember when Polar Express came out because I was in kindergarten (2004, I turned 6 that December) and we went to the movies on a field trip to see it. It’s not something I think about a lot, but when I am reminded of it, I think about how weird of a field trip idea that was compared to the others I went on when I was older

By the way, when cooking with ground Turkey, add a little bit of beef stock, turn the heat down, put the lid on when you aren’t moving it around as it cooks. Enhances the taste of the meat by giving a beefier flavor…😉👍
When we have tacos at home, I take the tortilla, spread a thin layer of refried beans, sour cream, guacamole (optional), meat, taco sauce or pico de gallo, and then cheese and then fold over and dig in!!
A lot of your subscribers provided great advice to your toilet flapper problem. My husband has installed many toilets in new homes and has a few questions for you Tyler. Did you test your water before deciding to add softeners? Does your water softener have salt chemicals in it? Any testing done after adding softeners? My husband noticed in the video the cloudy water in tank and erosion on the handle indicatiing salt or other chemicals possibly still water or softener etc. He says some softeners can help but if the water is not fully tested for everything it could be making things worse. This erosion can also cause a problem to the water pipes as well if not caught early. Test your water again, ask your neighbors and if possible install a reverse osmosis water system. It is amazing. So about your "Flimsy Flappers"😂, our friend owns a water specialty company that sells pool supplies (commercial & residential), water softeners & supplies, & they sell & install toilets, tubs, etc. He recommended having your water tested. He said he'd test the tap water both with & without the softener and then test the water in each toilet tank. Honestly, even with the hardest of water it's very unsual to have to replace those & even more odd to have to replace them that often. I mean, we've been in this house 30 yrs with extremely hard water & I use bleach tank tabs and we've never, not once, had to replace one of those things. It's very odd. Hope that helps.😊 Also, my husband taught me how to play batgammon & now we have a match every Friday "movie" night. It's super fun! I think you & Jess would really like it.
Yall. I totally get the singing thing. Used to be a musical theater kid and sang aaaalll the time. But once you fall out of practice it just feels so weird to sing for others. The only thing I can surmise is that it's the expectation that it will be spot on and wonderful since you once used to do it so well and the idea of disappointing/knowing you won't be spot on after years of no practice gives the weirdest feeling ever. Maybe that's just me but could explain your feelings toward it as well 🤷♀️

I've mentioned I'm up in Carmel, IN from TN and I'm working at the hospital, I was SOOO excited to see it snow yesterday. It didn't last long but it was still pretty. As far as games, I can't remember the name but one of the surgeons I work with was talking about a card game yall play here in Indiana that I have never even heard of.

I only-vaguely-remember when Polar Express came out because I was in kindergarten (2004, I turned 6 that December) and we went to the movies on a field trip to see it. It’s not something I think about a lot, but when I am reminded of it, I think about how weird of a field trip idea that was compared to the others I went on when I was older
I don't think going to see a movie is weird! We did that in my elementary too even though I'm a bit older than you lol.

We have one toilet that always needs a flapper replaced. All 4 toilets in the house have the same brand toilet but it’s only the toilet in my daughter’s room. It’s a flapping mystery. 🤣🤣

I just seen the title & had to share - I live in Atlantic Canada, this week started/currently with 55 degree weather with rain warnings (6+ inches)… the forecast for the last few days of the week, leading into Christmas: 14 degrees & blizzard warnings. I’m not sure what color Christmas we will be having!!!

I keep all breads in the freezer and take out as I use. Always works great. I also keep avocados in the fridge and take them out a day before I want them, always perfect, never waste a single one.
7:19 that’s why I order my groceries for delivery. I only get what I intended to buy.
Polar Express is my favorite. Probably because it came out when my son was little and he always loved it and will still watch it every year

Cribbage! It’s a family favorite in our house. Both our kids learned around age 10 and we all love it. I am hoping for some kind of book vlog before Christmas. 🤞🏻🙏🏻 I enjoy those a lot. Great vlog!
Cribbage is mine and my husbands favorite game. So much so that we collect playing cards from all our travels! ❤️
By the way, when cooking with ground Turkey, add a little bit of beef stock, turn the heat down, put the lid on when you aren’t moving it around as it cooks. Enhances the taste of the meat by giving a beefier flavor…😉👍

When we have tacos at home, I take the tortilla, spread a thin layer of refried beans, sour cream, guacamole (optional), meat, taco sauce or pico de gallo, and then cheese and then fold over and dig in!!

A lot of your subscribers provided great advice to your toilet flapper problem. My husband has installed many toilets in new homes and has a few questions for you Tyler. Did you test your water before deciding to add softeners? Does your water softener have salt chemicals in it? Any testing done after adding softeners? My husband noticed in the video the cloudy water in tank and erosion on the handle indicatiing salt or other chemicals possibly still water or softener etc. He says some softeners can help but if the water is not fully tested for everything it could be making things worse. This erosion can also cause a problem to the water pipes as well if not caught early. Test your water again, ask your neighbors and if possible install a reverse osmosis water system. It is amazing. So about your "Flimsy Flappers"😂, our friend owns a water specialty company that sells pool supplies (commercial & residential), water softeners & supplies, & they sell & install toilets, tubs, etc. He recommended having your water tested. He said he'd test the tap water both with & without the softener and then test the water in each toilet tank. Honestly, even with the hardest of water it's very unsual to have to replace those & even more odd to have to replace them that often. I mean, we've been in this house 30 yrs with extremely hard water & I use bleach tank tabs and we've never, not once, had to replace one of those things. It's very odd. Hope that helps.😊
Also, my husband taught me how to play batgammon & now we have a match every Friday "movie" night. It's super fun! I think you & Jess would really like it.

i never (rarely) use the back left burner. u can tell too cause its the cleanest. i use front right the most and the back right.
Yall. I totally get the singing thing. Used to be a musical theater kid and sang aaaalll the time. But once you fall out of practice it just feels so weird to sing for others. The only thing I can surmise is that it's the expectation that it will be spot on and wonderful since you once used to do it so well and the idea of disappointing/knowing you won't be spot on after years of no practice gives the weirdest feeling ever. Maybe that's just me but could explain your feelings toward it as well 🤷♀️
