FOR REAL!!!!! my stepdad puts NO EFFORT into getting my mom gifts... last year she got a jeep at a great price! And he GOT HER ACCESSORIES FOR IT!! shit that she didn't ask for!?!? and he's making it his!! when it's NOT😢 it's mom's first really really nice vehicle and it breaks my heart!!!
I have to give a slight shout out to my husband. No, he’s not as good as Tyler about paying attention throughout the year, but before we got engaged he apparently had a hidden file on his computer with notes from when I mentioned what I wanted in an engagement ring - including my ring size.
Shout-out to my husband too, he does this! I do also. We're super systems people with gifts as the lowest scoring on our love languages, so it helps our brains while making sure we don't forget to do gifts. Sometimes we agree not to do gifts though. Lol.
My husband does the same thing... And, he has ideas still from years past (I don't know what they are) that he has not yet used but says he might sometime in the future. It's an incredibly loving habit❤️
My hubby will literally have me write a list lol. Tyler is another creature lol.
I love that Jess has created a modern day Home Alone tradition where she's lost her phone...it's like Home Alone but with her phone ....Phone Alone 😁

Every year about this time, the sillies settle in. Now comes the last minute gifts, wrapping, travel packing....ohmygawd WHERE is Jessica's phone again?!? 😊😅😊 The holidays are wonderful, but Vlogmas.....priceless ❤

You can throw tortillas i. The freezer snd just defrost when you need them! And they defrost super quick. we always have a pack in the freezer.
The “tents for ants?!!”reference tickled me so much. Superbly well done.
We use those small street taco tortilla shells to make smash tacos. Add whatever seasoning you like to ground beef, roll into meatballs, put on the griddle with the tortilla shell on top, smash like a smash burger, then once done add whatever toppings you like. I love them w/ grilled onions. We’ve also done breakfast versions where we did it with chorizo and fried eggs.
I learned long ago, from Martha Stewart, that you can set your broken pieces in a bin of sand to give it a safe place to sit and hopefully not shift too much while you make the necessary repairs. I have never used this knowledge, but thought I’d pass it on to those who might need it.

Jess, if you have an Aldi around you, I highly recommend their meal planning calendar with tear off groceries lists. It's magnetic so it lives on the side of our fridge. It also has a hole punch on the top. So I keep about three months worth at a time on a ring so I know what we've had for meals. I find it super helpful.

It was that trip, right? She was dancing all around with it. So cute. That was a fun trip. I love Chicago being a Die Hard Cubs fan!! 🥰

When I travel, I attach my phone to a crossbody strap so I don’t lose it but also access it easily. Casetify has them 😉

Repairing broken things “Kintsugi” style is a fun option for future reference. It means “gold seams.” You use a special gold glue. I’ve seen it on Amazon even. Gives an added layer of memories of when it was broken.
Stillwater kids show on Apple+ has an episode about it so even the kids could get involved 🥰
Another fun hangout session, watching you two together with your music, shows, games, etc….it is very nice to see A couple so in tune with one another. The way you co-live sharing parenting, house hold chores, cooking and all is very positive. I think you’re A great role model for couples / parents to follow.
