This was the best and most helpful repair video I have ever watched. Im in the middle of doing mine on my truck that LIVE in and I need it for work everyday. This video was very clear, concise, explained step by step, told us what tools we need, and was very well narrated. Thank you so very much.
That spring clamp tool!!! I have been awkwardly fighting removing hoses with long angled needle nose pliers. Thanks for showing those details. I'll be biying a tool like that. 🤙🤟✌💯
Perfect…! No small talk. Right to work…! Thanks much.
You are my hero, I love it when women do things like this...... It is a big encouragement
why did you not put the belt on be for putting the fan on. Then you dont have to work a round the fan just saying
Great video. Watched it before starting my waterpump. Does not look too bad thanks for the torque specs.
Needs to put Teflon tape on clockwise or the threads will make a mess of it
Good job,if my girl was out of jail said she would do it, can't wait that long,Thank you,it gave me a heads up
My old Dakota's water pump just gave out today, started leaking profusely and sucking in air. ECT hit 246°f and was quite literally boiling, but somehow not quite at the Hot side of the temp gauge. I've got to baby it tomorrow if it will let me so I can go to work and get a replacement on order, and I'll have to take the day off Monday to get this done. I love this truck, but its failure timing always sucks...
Edit: changed the water pump, had an air bubble in the system, overheated again and stuck the thermostat open. Waited an hour for my little brother to bring my tools to me, replaced that, only to break the coolant return hose (old and dry rotted plastic connector). By some stroke of luck, orielly's had a oem replacement return line in stock. Replaced that, burped the system thoroughly, and finally got everything in order. Also, everything after the water pump took place just off the service road of the interstate... What a great way to spend a Saturday evening...
Well done; thank you for sharing!
Nice job. Very smart girl. Can’t you put the belt back on before the fan? I think it’s easier that way
Question- 'm lookign to replace my waterpump and wondering after seeing you removing the fan first before the belt Could you put the fan belt on before reinstalling the fan blades?
Great video! Well done.
Love it!!! Very thorough. ❤
😮I have to do this today.
Last night something blew belt squealed very loud and major leak.
Truck still.run but hot.
Coolant all over battery and driverside.
Hope its just bad water pump and idler pulley and tensioner pulley too.
Sue, you shoulda replaced the Thermostat with gasket and change coolant sensor too.
How much is that digital torq wrench where can I buy that same one?
Ain't fair you make this look so easy.
I'm changing all of these and also oil sensor while I'm underhood.
I have same Dakota 3.9v6 quad 4wd
You don't need to bleed water system. Just curious as I'm changing mine currently
Well done! Professional
Thank you
Where did you get that digital Is torque wrench and how much was it
Trq. Question, you have mechanical video just as this one except video show step by step process Replacing Timing Chain, Front Crank Seal and Timing Cover Gasket.
O2 Dodge Dakota SLT V8 5.9L that be soooooo Great, sincerely. Thank you
What size engine is this Dodge Dakota? I have a 4.7 V8.
Thank you great stuff
So instead of arguing with the fan. And the clutch. Why didn't you put the belt on and then twist on the fan clutch? That way, you're not fighting around those blades, the whole time
What size is the bolt on bottom left when pump is off mine is missing is that why it’s leaking like crazy after changing see I have all seven water pump bolts but I’m missing that one.
my husband wanted to thank you for your attend to detail. you make it look eazy. he says thanks
Thanks so much!!!
Thanks!

My belt just slides. Can you tell us how to stop the clutch from moving. Is there a way to lock it so I can remove the nut my belt does not hold to unscrew the fan clutch. ok I'm back, rent the tool. Put 2 bolts in those holes and use the tool and wrench to break it free ruclips.net/video/NXGje5DoqgA/видео.html
