"Welcome to one man's family"... 😆 The lowest level of the mansion was what the servants saw most of the time. Look at that floor, see the wear. Think of all the shuffling that went on between 1822 and 1972 in that mansion, 150 years of shuffling, lives spent "waiting" on others. 💜 Vandals most likely are to blame for the cemetery and mausoleum, after 1972. Drone work is exceptional, Lloydy, as usual. Looking forward to next week! Peace Men... 😎

For a name for exploring ruins you could have Ru-ex (Ruin exploring) or Arc-ex (architecture exploring) I tried to think of something funny but it's slim pickings.

there are brick chateaux in france dating to the 15th century at a guess the tower looks maybe modernised 16th but from an earlier defensive structure

The building above the crypt was what remains of a tower house know as Elphinstone castle built in 1510.
Would you guys consider more green laning? Or maybe some green leaning for Al.

The castle was built with Ill gotten gains (slave owner)
The crypts and graves haven't been respected or maintained for this reason.
There's so much history in the villages very close by. Xx

You'll love Airsoft it's great fun. It's proper full of nerdy types and you often get a bit of drama which is just funny in my opinion. Generally a good bunch of folk though.
I think your guys next hobby should be FPV drone racing. Then we'd get some absolutely amazing footage plus it's fun. Flying an FPV drone in a place like this would be so amazing. Flying around all fast doing flips through those arches.

As others have said, if you didn't see the Pineapple whilst there, then you’ve missed a good part of the area.
Imagine trying to build that nowadays, a large pineapple on your roof, neighbours would go mad 😂
Although, back then remember that things like pineapples were seen as an exotic fruit and really only the well off had access to them, some people were known to just buy one and never eat it, just leave it out on show even if it's gone mouldy 😮
This D.P. House was used in the Outlander tv series as a type of ww2 field hospital.
Yes, they thought demolishing was a great to avoid taxes 😂
The path at the back of the house led to the wine cellar too.
As for E. Castle nearby, it had a masion next to it from 1600, however it was demolished in 1865.
You can guess a lot of the masion remains were repurposed and used elsewhere nearby.
In 1955, most of the castle tower was demolished due to major subsidence from the local coal workings, with more collapsing in on itself since, as seen on the video there is not much of the walls remaining now, a few feet or two only.
