This toilet bowl cleaner works great. When I used it I left it over night before I rinsed it. Not only did it remove those oil spots but it also cleaned the concrete of dirt in those spots. Now I have to clean the whole sidewalk to make it look the same.
Now there’s gonna be a big Brite clean spots surrounding and highlighting the oil stains. Sanding them works, but you have to feather it into the rest of the driveway or else. You’ll also have some big bright fresh clean spots. You could do that pavers as well or just replace the paver, but when sinks in there, it may be a deep within.
I dont know if it works, but a friend who is a mechanic said the only thing that he found that worked is Muric acid diluted 1:1. found at pool stores. It is a very strong acid (so be very careful), but i suspect it would work.
You know what works well... wheel cleaner! The spots where I clean my wheels on my driveway look BRAND new! Obviously it's too expensive to do your whole driveway with it.. but for badly stained small areas like that should work great.
Purple power 30 min soak pressure wash then stright muratic acid 1 min soak then wash then tide soak 30 mins then dish soap soak 30 mins then muratic acid soak then wash with water...
DON'T use any acid product on your garage floor that has the smooth surface. It will actually eat the concrete to where it is now rough. Best thing is to be pro active and paint or epoxy paint the floor.
Brake cleaner worts great for spots that are even a few months old. Spray, scrub with a nylon brush and then wipe it off. Works great
Wow - I need to try it!
Thanks for trying and being honest.

What if your oil stain is months old? Would that be as effective?

Muriatic acid slightly diluted, let sit (you can watch it sizzle), and neutralize with baking soda. Then spray off.

Maybe the oil is a synthetic oil instead of regular oil. I heard synthetic oil doesn't remove as easily.
Good old fashioned kitty litter always works for me
I’ve heard of sand working as well
CRC Brakleen (Red Can) Carb or brake cleaner, spray and wipe right away with a paper towel or rag.
It will clean grout between a towel but I prefer the Lysol brand extra strength
I have had good luck cleaning oil stains on the driveway with Kitter litter. Good luck! 🙂
If a truck dropped it, it could be oil for a diesel engine that would be harder to get up to the surface potentially.
uhhh You didnt let it sit for long enough...
Ty
Nice. Keep it coming with the things that don’t work.
Very instructional.
Oven cleaner, $1.00 at the Dollar Store, works really well.
We'll keep watching. Maybe next time. Haha
You're very persistent

Use something made form removing oil - dish soap, liquid laundry detergent, or similar.
Try Easy Off oven cleaner
what if the grease deposit is in a garage where you cant just power wash the residue away??
I would probably try Dawn - let it soak in and power wash away ;)
I tried it before watching your video and it definitely does not work. Hope I could have seen your video earlier.
I have a nasty feeling you will need to replace that section of cement as it begins to crumble. Hope I'm wrong. Hey, Dawn dish soap maybe?
Has anyone tried Dawn?
chomp concrete oil stain remover works great

Also sandblaster and dry ice blasting is to finish then repeat all over till gone
@@cutratecontractor1000 And then use a torch to finish it off
Use Zep.
wd-40 tolet bowl cleaner and bars soap all together hit with brush and dove dish detergent .any cleaner in house mixed together .
This exactly what happened to me... didn’t work for me either
The bleach works great BUT you need to leave it overnight at least. It is not instant, even in the toilet it is not instant.
That works for the shower walls not the concrete
Toilet Bowl cleaner is NOT a degreaser.
Use cat litter, if you’re trying to save money , it will suck it up from concrete

Try cat piss and orange juice.
