I have done it and it works. I think the real reason why it didn’t work for you is because brick are not actually concrete. It only work on concrete bud. Not mud.
Back in the day, mid-late 80s Oil Rig workers used Coca-Cola in Washer Machines to remove oil stains from their clothes and it worked GREAT!!!! However, I cannot speak to Coca-Cola nowadays but my dad did tell me it worked amazing. They could've changed the ingredients from then until now. But it used to work incredibly well 40yrs ago
i used Coke bit more than year ago, however, it was asphalt and i had different procedure... i first throw down some cat litter sand and lefti it overnight (straight 12hrs), brushed it out and rinse with hot water... some brush and rinse again.... after i put coke on it and brushed for another 5 mins, rinse off with hot water couple times... it was looking like it will stay "shadow" of it, on first 3-4 days...after it desapeared completly...surely, hot water did most part but i think it was all together... i got some stains (again) so i will try again with only coke and all together
Best way to get rid of oil spots in your driveway is to get rid of the leaks. De-greasing detergent like dawn or liquid tide will get what is sitting on the surface but the rest goes away over time. Eventually there will be just a discoloration. This is where asphalt is the best material for your driveway because you can just topcoat it and it's nearly new. Nice drive by the way. Always wanted one in brick.
Let the soda sit on the oil stain for a day. This is the easiest and least expensive method for removing oil from your cement. The acid must have time to desolve the oil. Also concrete absorbs it and it will likely need several applications as you absorb some more will surface as concrete is a very porous surface. Glass is not very porous and practically repels oil while concrete is very porous and will absorb a ton of it. It's why a spill usually stays fairly local on concrete
Kitty litter works OKAY. Just spread a generous amount over the entire area and grind it into the surface vigorously with your shoe. After a few minutes, I scrape off most of it with a flat shovel leaving a thin layer to absorb the oils. You can then sweep it up and save the litter for next time. I wait the following day before I hose it off with a high pressure water stream. You may still see a stain, but the oils won’t get trampled into the house.
Blood is like 95% water that's why Americans use Coca Cola cos it is like detergent but oil is thick this trick right here is almost right You meant to leave the coke to sit on the oil stain for 24 hours then use the hose it's not guaranteed but it's a cheap option the fresher the oil stain the better the chance of working ladies and gentlemen
I have exactly the same problem on grey block drive Nothing works. Acid, Gas Torch, cleaners etc nothing It’s because the brick is like a sponge / porous Don’t want to flip the bricks either as they’ll never set like how they were when laid by the firm
after many different tries to remove a stubborn line of oil/emission fluid from a scrap drivers truck, i tried coca cola and immediately on top a pack of bicarb of soda, left overnight....next day used the pressure washer and it has gone, 3 days on and no return :)
Police commonly have coke in their trunk to remove blood stains from concrete, asphalt, or any hard surface (smooth or coarse). The acid in the soda helps degrease and separate the oil, blood or any reasonable stains from the surface, power washing afterwards makes it good as new
It works only if you do it as soon as the stain happens. The longer the stain stays the longer you have to leave it and the less impressive the results.
I don't know about removing blood from the road with Coke, but I know Coke works well with cleaning battery terminals on car batteries. Here in America.
Nope. Red brick has other components where as a white concrete driveway is just concrete. You can get red brick like his in many materials now and obviously his are not just concrete or it would be clean.
Nice tip, i live in Mexico ( baja ) they dont use coca cola for blood they just leave it there bodys and all, hahaha nah just messing around, actually what they use is cat litter, let it and drive over it for a week ( apply as need it ) clean it up an that it, its fantastic, the cheaper the better
Heads Up!!! "Goof Off" just took off all the oil stains on my stamped driveway. Just used a rag , poured it on and scrubbed a little , didn't even let it set!!! Worked for me!!! Now I'll get dinner again! lol
Please subscribe!
Coca-Cola bhi bekar kar diya esse acha thoda pii liya hota
The coke is best used chilled😂
But have you tried Pepsi?

Must've had to do with the cocaine. Hold up lemme call my plug.
I'm actually glad you posted this...after everyone says it works... you proved it doesn't! Thanks! REALLY!
Works on concrete. Apparently not on brick.
I thought you were supposed to leave it overnight and then scrub and rinse, or something? Not just scrub and wash off

Meant to leave the coke on the floor for at least 12 hours for the acid to break down the oil film then rinse. He rinsed it off to soon
Shocked they didn't no that
I think its best if you fix the oil leak in the car
no shit dickhead
I thought the end was a flashback 😂💀 That soda did absolutely nothing to that stain.
I think you need to add a little bit of rum and some ice cubes

Lol you're the only person on here that has any sense

Remove the oily pavers & turn them over on the clean side .. done 👍🏼
Just use fine marble powder , can get it free from any stone or marble cutting facility. It will absorb the oil . Use it on a hot day .
It worked on my concrete driveway. Your BRICK is porous and absorbed the oil. It's very different than concrete as it lays on top of the surface.

You're supposed to leave the coke on overnight
Lighter fluid and dawn dish soap gets the oil right out
after many different tries to remove a stubborn line of oil/emission fluid from a scrap drivers truck, i tried coca cola and immediately on top a pack of bicarb of soda, left overnight....next day used the pressure washer and it has gone, 3 days on and no return :)
awesome
Tell me more! I love the way you lie with so much passion! 😊
This explains why Coca-Cola does not remove fat from my belly.
Apparently it doesn’t work on red brick only white concrete. You could try leaving it on the brick longer. Rings and coins clean up overnight.

maybe take the oily bricks out and turn them upside down and put them back, just put new sand in the gaps
It works only if you do it as soon as the stain happens. The longer the stain stays the longer you have to leave it and the less impressive the results.
i left the stain too long
Garage Legacy I have some old 1930s floor tiles in my hallway that need restoring ill try coke on them see how it goes
Carb & choke cleaner work well
I don't know about removing blood from the road with Coke, but I know Coke works well with cleaning battery terminals on car batteries. Here in America.
Thank you for posting. I'm happy I could see what happened - coke on tile does not work, maybe it could work on concrete.
Thank you for the debunking of this
You are welcome
I've heard your supposed to leave it on over night
I think he didn't scrub it fast enough.
It doesn't work on brick, only concrete
Carilyn Ellis do you realize they're both the same damn thing lol
Those bricks are made of concrete. They are not kiln clay.
Nope. Red brick has other components where as a white concrete driveway is just concrete. You can get red brick like his in many materials now and obviously his are not just concrete or it would be clean.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brick
Nicholas Goss They're not clean because it doesn't work. I've tried it myself on regular concrete with the same results.
why you don't put water and see if the oil gone.....
Thanks, these 3 minutes saved me half an hour of elbow grease, buggering round and wasting a good bottle of coke
+mark kemp Thanks for watching Mr Kemp
Coca Cola syrup is used as a degreaser to clean the engine bays of delivery trucks.
Yes, we are so bumb over here we use it for everything
Peanut butter with strawberry jam works. Then pour milk on stain...
Mabie it works on a real driveway not a brick one. Not all of us have money for a brick driveway
Baking soda water and Coca Cola those three items to remove drive way stain
Use baking soda with the Coke.
Y funciona
You just saved me a bottle of coke, I'll drink it instead.
if that worked i'd have never drank coke again. lol
+somfplease You sir, are indeed a higher primate! (Do you belong to one a them "missing link" clubs?)

It can dissolve nails. Try it 😊
I have used Coke to clean corrosion off my car battery’s terminal connectors and restore the battery cables to a like new shine on multiple occasions.
Can't hear what the guy is saying. Judging from the end of the video, the answer to the question is a resounding NO!
If all else fails bring out the heavy duty stuff. Grab some hydrochloric acid from your local shop
so I tried this and it only took the top layer off but the stain was still there.
Worth a go
it clearly doesn't work. thank you for carrying out the process for all to take note from.
best way to do this is to use tide washing powder and a straw broom to work it in with water. your welcome.
I use it only i let it go flat first. works on my concrete driveway.
May be Henny and coca will work.
Short answer NO.
Should have just looked at the comments. IT DOESNT WORK. Save yourself the time.
Did you get rid of the ants afterwards?
I think I’d have spent a little more time sorting the lawn as my first priority.
+Arturo Rodriguez Thanks bro I will give that a go! Any particular type?
+Arturo Rodriguez Thank you El Chapo!
Apparently doesn't work on brick.
Right place for coke, pepsi etc carbonated drinks is down the toilet....
I'm sure they wouldnt give a shit if you poured the drink you'd bought down the sink.
Thanks for debunking this crap myth.
A couple🍻 of pints of Budweiser will definitely do the job
Sure did. After I got done using Buds, couldn’t see the stain anymore. I do it daily now. Good tip.
Finally, a use for brown sugar water.
coke do work. but you have to let it sit a week.
It might have had a better chance working if the brick hadn't been sealed.
Pov you have a friend that drives a ford ranger
Somebody go grab me a cup
Now if you would have added just a little arm & Hammer baking soda, it would have came right up man!
What about Pepsi or RC Cola?
Pretty sure it has to sit on the stain for s few hours
+jabari kidd At least! Coke does not have enough acid in it to do such a thing. If it did, you could not drink it. Better try Muriatic acid.
Do you want ants because thats how you get ants.😊
think its time to mow the yard :P
Just a yard? Not the whole thing?
I looked through the comments just to see if someone else thought this
Thats a brick driveway, not concrete, not exactly the same
The brick is made of concrete, it's just stained to a desired color. Standard bricks are made of clay and will not hold the weight of an automobile
Coca Cola does all this ,cleans drains unblocks toilets and then you drink it .
Shouldve used PEPSI, mate!
I hear oven cleaner dose the trick
Ant infestation here we come 😂
I wouldn't be able to do this anyway. My driveway is diabetic.
Heads Up!!! "Goof Off" just took off all the oil stains on my stamped driveway. Just used a rag , poured it on and scrubbed a little , didn't even let it set!!! Worked for me!!! Now I'll get dinner again! lol

Do you know what will remove the stains from radiator fluid/rust thats on the concrete?
i will never get those 4.13 minutes back.....i so wanted it to work
Your supposed to use dawn and coke. Not just coke
no, it's not used to remove blood from roads lol. they use soap and water
If it’s a pass or a foul… it is most definitely a foul lmao
The coke doesn’t work, the red ants that eat it, just covers up the stain. 😂
just saved me wasting money on stuff i never buy anyway
You went wrong when you decided to clean with it. Better to drink!
Definitely not better to drink.
That would be a no then
Thanks for posting, was hust going to buy some coke, the drinking kind
Upps
It didn't work
What a waste of a bottle of Coke for virtually no difference.
Use brake cleaner on this .
lmao that song when it fails hahaha
Believe he forgot to leave it on for 24 hours lol
It's now called "woka" cola...
Did the coke eat up the grass?
It would be nice if i could hear your voice on the video.
The answer is NO
well better on the driveway than in your body!
Use butter! But has to be real butter and a hot dry day.
How many sticks? 30?
didn't work for me
i always thought it was Diet Coke that worked.
Should’ve hit it with a presser washer and cleaner called zap concrete cleaner
I wish I'd read the comments before I'd watched the video! 🙄
1:52 A map of the U.S.A?
Skip the cola, gasoline really does work much better!
