By far the most consistent and dominant tennis player I have ever seen. The GOAT of tennis. I have been following his matches since the start of his career. From 2011 he is just on a roll.. the stats don't lie. Djokovic..the GOAT

As a Fed Fan who enjoys watching Fed more than others, Djokovic is the GOAT when it comes to complete Tennis records. The only record he has to beat of Fed is to catchup in total number of titles which he should be able to if he plays more ATP500 for next 2-3 years. What an Athlete. For me, Novak > Fed/Rafa (we can argue who is 2nd and 3rd because to me, fed/rafa are not too different but rafa has a higher claim for 2nd once he won Aus Open a 2nd time).

Nole has been on fire this last weeks: whenever he taps his inner godmode he demolishes the opponent (first sets against Musetti, Tsitsipas, Rune in Paris-Bercy; second set against Rublev in Finals). His main issue is his fitness level, whenever he starts getting a bit tired his game drops heavily and gives opportunities to react to the opponent like with Tsitsipas and Rune.

Always been Novak's fan. And the ATP's attempts to make the world less of a fan has only STRENGTHENED my appreciation for him. BANNED from HALF of the grand slams this year. Denied ranking points at the one he WON. Banned from AT LEAST a third (if not half) of the masters tournaments. And despite all of this, he has STILL ranked in the top 8, in the year end final (only top 8 allowed), and is so far undefeated and the first player guaranteed into the semis.
Greatest of all time. Has been for a while. And this year has only cemented him as such.

Commentator's words during match ~ " Djokovic is hitting in the middle of the needle through his racket. He is getting better, and better, and better. 5 star tennis from a 5 star player". What a healthy mindset, a gladiator, a terminator, the wolf. I reckon, if he comes to Aus open 2023, he will be blazing and storming against opponents in straight sets, he will be on a mission for sure, what we had witnessed in 2011.

How many times did Novak lost the first match against a youngster and after that, he played much better?
Obviously Novak is not unbeatable. At his age, he can't go on a full season, playing great tennis all the time. However, is hard to say that he isn't still the best player. Well, Novak at his clinical best and man, what a returner he is, perhaps the best in history. He made mince meat of Rublev who looked a bit out of sorts through a combo of Novak's exemplary play and the pressure he put on his opponent to unsettle his rhythm. Novak is an exponent in that sphere. And he is now going for his record equalling 6th ATP World tour title and what an achievement that would be if he makes it. A year end win would also impart needed momentum to his Australian open campaign where he should win to pay back the country which mistreated him in the most horrendous fashion.
