It’s hard for those to appreciate if they’ve never played the first one. I’m very excited!
why?
@@vl3244 The first game brought a lot of fun new elements to the table within the genre. Now with the new game, it’s just inherently better. Even the opening tutorial is incredible in comparison to the last game.
Looks pretty cool. Hope some kinks get worked out with patches. Might pick up in 6-12 months
Chat we really need to start referring to this dumpster fire as Dragon’s Dogshit
The NPC dialogue & inventory management is messy, otherwise addictive & fun.7/10
That frame rate shyt should’ve been worked on. Too many games offer 60fps with more demanding assets than this. Elden ring the Witcher. Etc. I’ll wait a little bit on this one.
DD2 is way more demanding than Elden ring
Elden Ring and The Witcher, both games from previous generation?
You could say Horizon: Forbidden West, Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2
@@gannielukks1811Alan wake 2 is not an open world game. Also, who cares if that game is 60 fps when you get locked into your animation all the time. One of the clunkiest games I’ve played recently
Saying Elden Ring and Witcher have more demanding assets is such a lie it's almost laughable.
@@saikorofunk6498 It's not open-world but it's one of the most demanding games of all time.
should we get worried about the frame rates?
You will soon find out when you buy it
They give an 8
You are the real MVP
Only an 8 jeez
Thanks buzz killington
You realise the point of a review is to listen to the context of the verdict right?
Thanks. Didn’t want to watch this.
Bitterly disappointed this game doesn't have coop.
30 fps is a big no no for me
variable 30 so it can go lower😂
For real. Like bro dd1 was 30 fps, you couldn’t improve in 12 years?
Idk why they got this guy who is clearly not interested in the Dragon's Dogma formula to review DD2. Half of the "inconveniences" he complained about are things any actual fan wouldn't want changed.
Like a shitty camera and pawns that don't do anything while you get killed? That's not stuff that anyone who liked the first game wants back.
An 8 is a perfect score for a game like this!!
3/10 with all the micro transactions, and it being a ridiculously over priced game...greed ruins everything
Feels like a bored professor reading a lecture that he's sick of doing.
Using the term Bug-a-boos in 2024. A man of early 1999-2000 culture.
That tern has been around in one form or another since the 16th century. It’s also a Destiny’s Child song.
what a boring reviewer lol, where was the guy that did the preview man he seemed genuinely interested in the game??
Who cares about interest, it is about his points? Does it make sense? Based on the videos and what he said it does..can you just set aside some emotions.

Dogman's Dragma is finally here! What're the players thinking so far?
Sounds like I'll be waiting on a sale
But 30fps with forced Ray Tracing , it is set in medieval times so there is no shiny floor and widows anyways .
Elden Ring plays at 60 fps and looks the same or better .
I'm near the end of Dragon's Dogma 2 i still need to wrap up some some quests, find a legendary monster and answer the Sphinx's last riddle. So far its a 9 imo.
Steam reviews has this as a steaming pile of sht
Because of microtransactions in a single player game and a lot of features that are straight up weird and intentionally omitted. For example you apparently can't start a new game without going through game files.
@@MattHatter360 Also very poor performance apparently
Shockingly, gamers don't like microtransactions in a single player game hidden until the zero hour and hidden from reviewers. Game deserves a zero.
@@_Smarf_ pretty fked up
@MattHatter360 Yeah microtransactions that are dirt cheap and only give you trivial conveniences to the overall game. Relax it's not horse armor
It literally looks like the same game, but with better graphics and no quality of life features
Almost every mob is the same. And quality of life is worse because of the lack of portcrystals. This is a 6/10 at best.
@@sophieedel6324 ahahah so now you lowered from a 7 to a 6
To every gamers, don't buy the game. Wait for it to get cracked and wait for a cheat engine. The devs added microtransactions in a patch after the reviews
1:48 ok... what kind of lunch are they making us?
That 30fps though. Will buy the remaster for $10 next gen.
But Elden Ring manages 60fps somehow .
