- Minecraft Tutorial: In this Tutorial, I will be showing you a new design of a Minecraft String Duplicator. It is really easy to make, cheap of materials, and it works on (most) online survival Minecraft servers.

for everyone that is stil strugling on aternos, you need to put allow-tripwire-disarming-exploits on true in the config settings. Open config in your aternos files, open paper global and scroll down and you will see it there.

where is config? i have been looking everywhere for it on my server files and unfortunately cant find it.
for real, i dont know what do to, i know where the config file is, but there isn't the " allow-tripwire-disarming-exploits", do i need to put it myself?

it doesn't seem to work on my 1.20.1 forge server. Is there just a mod I can use to make it work that you know of?
@@turkeytime3309 Forge is weird. I have a link in the description, but I'm waiting on a solution for Forge. Forge and Bedrock don't work right now.
it works for a bit, but after a while (i think when i unload the chunks) the water just flows and breaks everything

I was trying to figure out why the original duper didnt work, and now this one did, Thanks alot bro!
I also learned that they are stackable, like one trapdoor above another, or tripwire hook above another
FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE ASKING WHY THE STRING BREAKS WHEN USED WITH SHEARS:
Paper has patched ALL string dupers because they made it to when you use shears it just breaks the string, so it isn't a glitch it's a patch.

i play on 1.20.4 and when i break the string it just breaks without the disabled one and it doesnt work
i play on forge 1.20.1 and it also just breaks instead of disarming it

I tried this on 1.18, it works. In a server of course, (not vanilla), and instead of having one (it made me 3 stacks in 6 minutes or even less) i built 2 so i could have 2x the earnings. I definitely recommend this duper, and absolutely subscribe to this guy.

Thanks to you I became the most richest player on a server where I play, I’ve built hidden 14 of these with water system that leads straight into my base and gets sorted into chest, it’s just pain to craft the wool when there’s thousands stacks of strings 😂 and can’t wait for the new Crafter to be added, it’s gonna be such a huge help

for those in forge build it with any other launcher and then once its built and the string is sheared you can log back on with forge and it works

@@SANJOGFF631you can fix it if you go to your server files and go to config folder and next paper-global.yml click on it and next go to the bottom and when you see allow-tripwire-disarming-exploits and put it on true and save it and it will work

this works! I was having trouble getting the normal string duper to work (even on a normal vanilla server) but this works! I think it might be because the server can't update quick enough for the normal string duper to work? Idk anything about red stone but thats my best guess. anyways thx for the tutorial!
Yeah, that's about my guess too. The orignial string duper breaks too fast, so I thought of a way to slow it down, and it ended up working.
What if the string falls out right after i break it instead of staying in the hooks?
this happened to me to just only break it once with the siccors before activating the redstone is it doesnt work break it and build it all again and only cut with the siccor once again

Does this work in 1.21? Cause the water is breaking the string for me? The old duper works, but not the current. Might be a fabric optimization mod messing it up tho.

yeah it didnt work for me for some reason, im using the Create mod but im not sure if thats the problem. I built it facing east if that maybe messed it up. when i break the string with the shears it just completely breaks

@@JoshuaBeasley The string farm doesn't work on Bedrock sadly. Bedrock is very different from Java, including it's code. The string farm is a exploit in the Java code, but Bedrock doesn't have that same problem.

yes, make sure to press f3 and face south while making it, it doesn't work on papermc servers
I’m really confused when I left or right click on the string with shears it still doesn’t replace the string so idk if that’s meant to happen but it’s not working

Nah guyz you just have to build this farm when your face in the south direction and when you want to start the farm your face need to be easy direction then crouch then left click and then stand then click on the level

for me it worked best when you use a comparator clock instead of repeaters

So just to be clear, this doesn't work on forge, right? Cause I don't think you can sheer string using forge.
I try everything on forge and nothing works
I'm testing it at this moment, I will edit when I get results / Edit: I have tried it on forge, because the shears not triggering it, I can't make it automatic, but curiously enough, I found a way to duplicate string, but it isn't automatic. I will see if it's possible to use the way I duplicated string and make it automatic. Thank you for your information! It's super helpful. So far the duplicator has worked on servers/paper/ and a few others, but with forge being stupid, it's making my job a lot more difficult.
@@Mlocken I just wonder if there is a mod that unpatches the sheers on string. Currently I rely on wool-to-string mods and just make wool farms.
I am aware of the manual duper that uses 3 string and is shaped like a rocket, gonna reply to the other guy with the tutorial on that that I helped someone with on reddit.
@@Hadeks_Marow A mod is possible. even coding something like that myself doesnt sound too challenging. I will look into it. Until then, thank you for your feedback. I had no clue forge players were having seperate issues from all of the other clients.

Are you on Bedrock Minecraft or Forge on Java?
@@Mlocken I'm on Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.51. it looks like the water does not respond in the same way as on yours, when trap is placed like this, it does not change its flow when I open/close the trap door
@@X4ngu Sadly, the string farm doesn't work at all on Bedrock, because of the different code. Java is coded in "Java Script" While Bedrock is coded in "C++". The String farm is an exploit in the Java's version code. I'm sorry this doesn't work for you. :C

I used it to destroy server economies. I make 50+ of them like you and started selling them to the server market and got too rich.
Hopper mine carts are faster than standard hoppers if you want to try to incorporate those
I tried this on bedrock and it didnt work maybe its only on java but can u reply and give me advise on what i should do. Great video though

Does this work on bedrock? I tried making the machine but the water constantly runs through thr trap door without it being stopped. Plus the string doesnt break when it comes into contact with water

@thefruitbasket001 For Bedrock it doesn't work, It's impossible, because the water doesn't break the string, and also the shears completely break the string. I think the string duplication only works for Java Edition of Minecraft
