I hear you. It makes me cringe to see that as well. Thank goodness for the Velcro strap that latches over the top of the guitar neck. I actually have "vintage" Orangewood. As they were forced to change their old logo which pretty much used the exact font as Orange amps. They were threatened with litigation from what I gather. Gotta say though, for the very reasonably priced guitar it sounds pretty darn good.
@@danielbruning1213I love my orangewood. I got the beginner model (Oliver I think?) It's extremely great value for the money. I think it plays great and sounds beautiful.
@@ChadTasteInMusic421 I believe that I also have the Oliver as well. For the price point it sounds great. It sounds great besides even the affordable price. I pretty much use it as my everyday jammer and when I'm working on new material. They REALLY pulled off a beautiful guitar that sounds good for a great asking price. They even give a fairly nice gig bag included with the cost. I was surprised to find a gig bag that was so decent for what I paid. Question, do you have the Orangewood with their old logo(font) on it or the newer one? I'm asking out of curiosity. I picked mine up about 2 or 3 years ago now.

Naw brother man. I wanted an orangewood guitar for years and finally got the chance to play one. I was real excited. But thoroughly disappointed in the lack of ass behind it. It had a great high and mjd range, but that low range was lacking. Im also a bastard when it comes to my guitars, picky as hell. Not a bad sounding guitar. If yall got one that has a fuller tone, id love to try it out. Edit: I have no doubt that Orangewood makes guitars to specifically fit my liking, I just haven't gotten a chance to play them. It was a great sounding guitar, a nice mid level tone. If yall have any recommendations for an Orangewood with some ass behind it, send it my way and I'll try it out
I have an orangewood as my everyday jammer. I agree with you for the most part. I do wish it had a better low end to it but I still love the guitar for the price point and how well it is manufactured for that price.
Oh, i have no doubt that they're great guitars, and I would wager that they do make some models to fit my taste. I just haven't played any except for one. It was more akin to a parlor guitar. I have a dreadnought body Martin so I'm very used to guitars with some heavy low end @danielbruning1213
@@trasonrobards4823 It's funny you mention that. I also have a dreadnaught Martin guitar. The Orangewood sounds good but it can't outperform the Martin when it comes to low end and build quality.
